@realjohnboy,
GAME #1 Arizona Cardinals
GAME #2 Indianapolis Colts
GAME #3 Minnesota Vikings
GAME #4 San Diego Chargers

GAME #5 Minnesota Vikings
GAME #6 San Diego Chargers

GAME #7 Minnesota Vikings 38-31

Homefield advantage will always be enjoyed by the team who had the lowest seed number... which won't be determined until after the games have been played.

@realjohnboy,
Actually, nothing in my long-range view changed this weekend, because I thought the Bungles would go down in the second round. All I have to do is substitute the Jets where I thought Cincy would be. That said......

New Orleans over Arizona
Indianapolis over Baltimore in a nail-biter
Minnesota over Dallas
San Diego in a rout over the Jets

New Orleans over Minnesota
San Diego over Indianapolis

San Diego 38, New Orleans 24

@realjohnboy,
I'm with johnboy on this one, except I would have had everyone pick all the way through last week. With the weighted point system, it's actually very similar to the way most NCAA basketball tournament brackets are filled out in March. Th better you foresee future matchups, the better you score. Otherwise, there would be no reason to award higher point totals for games as the tourney progresses.

I like it just the way you're running, John-Boy.
And I admire your patience.
Thanks again for your work.

@Ticomaya,
Interesting, Tico. That was my last best scenario, yesterday.
Still cogitating though.

By the way, Spendi, you have used the word "shirty" a couple of times. I assume that that is intended as a less coarse synonym for "shitty." Is that the extent of it?

Not shitty at all. A slight sign of impatience--that's all.

Saints, Cowboys, Chargers, Colts.

Saints, Colts.

Colts. 34--17.

I look for the Minnesota Vikings to win the Super Bowl with relative ease.

@gustavratzenhofer,
Bill also picked the Vikings to win.

Gargamel and I are clearheaded enough to see that the Vikings will lose to Dallas this weekend.
