@Region Philbis,
That's a little soon for me, but I wish both of you good luck. I'll see you at some run later this year.

Dammit! That's the day I return from my next trip to Germany. I guess the next one will be this heatstroke-hot race in July that we ran two years ago, won't it?

@Region Philbis,
Same here - you don't want me multiplying my usual 45 mins for 3 miles times, eek, 4+ to get a half marathon.

@jespah,
Actually, we do have some 3-milers and 5-kers coming up. And if you think you can hold your 15-minute pace for 4 miles, the possibilities of running Central-Park races are endless. And when we're done, we could stay in Central Park and shoot some squirrel with OmSigDavid!

@ehBeth,
Tired.
43:54 this time, so I shaved almost 2 1/2 minutes off my time.

RP also had an improvement.

I love Advil.

took running gear to work with me today.
jogged to the bus, got off the bus about a mile from the house and jogged the rest of the way home.
heavy backpack and hills made it an excellent work-out...

Scotland Run today, a 10k (6.2 m) run in Central Park. Ran it in 1:16, which is neither exciting nor depressing.

@Thomas,
Thomas, we have to start comparing schedules so we can meet up.

I trotted around the 1oK on Saturday. It was my last race as a 60-64 male.

Let me extend my gratitude to the nine men in that group who actually ran slower than I did. 1:08:something.

As of next Saturday, it's
...........Me and The Committee in my Head against the Geezers!.........

...
Very little running over this warm winter, (What's up with that?)
Fearful of hurting my right knee (as in the Marathon).... but guess what travelers?
-----The more I run the LESS my knee complains---- in fact the messages being recieved by the Committee in my Head on Saturday were mostly along the line of "Where the hell have you been, ......dumbass....?"

Let me know how your sex change operation goes, and how it affects your running. And yes, let's compare schedules. I'll go to Germany on April 22nd, return on May 6th, and run all the other runs in May. (There's a double-whammy on the weekend of May 12th: 10k on Saturday, 4M on Sunday. I'll be running both.)
