Besides beer? Next up favorite would be wine. And rum. Oh and gin in the warmer months.....

My dad had the Talisker out this evening!

I can drink Vodka like water, and also enjoy a good margarita.
No wine. Ever.

Looking at little k's avatar however makes me think of drinking straight from the tap.

Is it called a virgin drink because it hasn't been adulterated with spirits, or because it is more likely to keep you one?

Little K -- Is that your dad's favorite scotch? PFK says it is his, though... yuck. Have you tasted it? It's so darn peaty.

My most frequent mixed drink, made at a nearby cantina, is called an Aculpulco Margarita. Made with fresh squeezed limes, good Cuervo Gold Tequila, Triple Sec and shaken over ice, not stirred.

Forget the triple sec and bite the lime, and you've got yourself one fine beverage there!

I said Mixed Drink!!!

Besides, if I drink Tequila straight I am a danger to myself and those around me.

No, really, it's good. If it's blended, you should go equal parts beer and rita, but if it ain't, just sip your beer down enough to dump the margie in (without the ice).

Margarita? Yuuck!

The true submarine is made when you dump your full horsey (the small tequila glass) into a glass of Dos Equis. The thing is that the tequila must spring slowly from the bottom of the glass.

It is not a sweet Margarita at all and it has no fruit except for lime pulp. Honestly. Really, I can no longer drink Tequila straight; it would kill me. (And beer... not my favorite.)

A Corona or a Coronita with a lime squeezed into the neck. It is good on the beach. Otherwise, I take the tiny coldest bit frin PFK's bottle in something slightly larger than a shot glass, and sip it for an hour. And not with Margarita mix. Yikes....!

fb -- Do you ever drink Vita? It was my favorite drink when my parents used to live half the time in San Carlos, near Guaymas.
