Thanks for the reminder, rjb. As I told you by p.m., we've got our "really big shew" on Friday night, and I've been more than a little distracted with rehearsals and sewing. This time, our folklore class will be doing a khaleegy piece
and I decided (why oh why) that I could make a prettier thobe than I could buy online. Well, I can, but damn, chiffon and lame' are difficult to sew. Rehearsing two pieces and sewing costumes, and learning how to work hair extensions, it's a full time job on top of a full time job.
Jets
(I should be more of a snowbelt loyalist, and I do love those Frank's Anchor Bar Buffalo chicken wings but really ... Buffalo?)
Both teams are even and going nowhere fast AFAS playoff berths.. Bills have a tiny edge because they're at home and got rid of Jauron; however, their newfound offense scores but their poor D gives it right back. TO and crew KOs the Jets.
NY Jets over BUFFALO Tennessee over INDIANAPOLIS CAROLINA over Tampa Bay Philadelphia over ATLANTA New Orleans over WASHINGTON CHICAGO over St. Louis CINCINNATI over Detroit PITTSBURGH over Oakland Houston over JACKSONVILLE Denver over KANSAS CITY New England over MIAMI San Diego over CLEVELAND SEATTLE over San Francisco Dallas over NY GIANTS Minnesota over ARIZONA GREEN BAY over Baltimore (31-16)

The team was established in Chicago in 1898 and was a charter member of the NFL in 1920. Along with the Chicago Bears, the club is one of two franchises still in operation since the league's founding. The club moved to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1960 and played in that city through 1987 (sometimes referred to as the "football Cardinals" to avoid confusion with the baseball St. Louis Cardinals). Before the 1988 NFL season, the team moved to Tempe, Arizona, an eastern suburb of Phoenix, and played their home games for the next 18 years at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium. In 2006 the club began playing all home games at the newly constructed University of Phoenix Stadium in the northwestern suburb of Glendale.
