Did yall know that Maporsche has been to 19 of the 30 Major League Baseball parks?

@realjohnboy,
Well, I have been to two. Razz San Francisco, in 1965, and Astrodome.

@lmur,
No organization as far as I know. It's just that crowds followed him along the course, and they picked up the name Arnie's army..

@edgarblythe,
You might not recognize those parks if you go back, Edgar.

The 9 early games are history. Detroit, we were told, would eventually win a game. Not this week, we thought. But they beat Washington. Congrats to McGentrix, George, Cowdoc, JPinMilw and, of course, Alex, for seeing that.
The Houston loss to Jacksonville was foreseen by Jespah, George, Liontamex and Maporsche.
Right now, through the early games, McGentrix and Cowdoc have only one mis-pick each. Tico, Imur, Rhyss and Clubber have 4.

@CowDoc,
I know they have new stadiums. The Astrodome may be used for a movie studio in the future.

@realjohnboy,
yeah...I can't stand the whiner but that was one of the greatest game-winning throws I've ever seen.

@panzade,
I actually turned on the TV for that last quarter of that game and stayed tuned just to see if he'd pull off some drama. 'Some drama'. Putting aside the pre-season 'will-he-or-won't-he' shenanigans, he once again proved to the doubters and detractors not only is he not washed up, but he's still one of the best NFL players to watch when the game is on the line.

That throw was a 40-yard-rope to the perfect spot in the backfield. With 2 ticks left on the clock, the not so often used receiver caught it at the shoulder furthest from the defender, dragged his trailing foot inbounds and scored the most improbable TD in memory.

@Ragman,
I just missed it, had been following on my computer/cbs game tracker, saw that SF was winning with little time to go and switched over to another game while thinking "gee I'm glad SF won, even if I didn't pick them". Wrongo..

14 games over with. 10 players only have 3 miscues. And then there is Clubber who is 7-7.

@panzade,
Even I will admit he seems to have known what he was doing. Wonderful video.

I can imagine it would be hard to walk away from the game and those kind of thrills.

Detroit Lions fans can breath. December twenty third, two thousand seven, I repeat o seven, was the last time the Lions won.

@ossobuco,
Far back (but not forgotten) in most people's thought process is the concern or curiousity about how 49-ers Coach Singletary must be feeling. It's not like he did some half-assed job of coaching or even that his defensive guy was slacking off at the end 'cause time was almost gone. Wonder how successful his wife and family were at consoling him. I pity the next team that faces the Niners.

@Ragman,
Mike Singletary: 49ers 'will see (the Vikings) again in the playoffs'

Singletary accentuates the positive, with an accent on the accent
