Rows and Columns - Week #1
6 hours to go before the NFL season starts. 26 players have picked so far. I welcome others to join in.
I have 16 rows across - 1 for each of the games. I have assigned each of us to one of the columns going down -from Edgar to Rockhead.
We, as a group, seem to think somewhat alike in Week #1. We all have Baltimore winning over KC. Only Mysteryman has Buffalo over New England. There are 3 games where we split 24-2. McGentrix and Osso pick San Francisco to beat Arizona. Ms Cowdoc and Clubber see St Louis whipping Seattle. Region and George are betting Oakland will top San Diego.
The closest we come to an even split is in the Philly-Carolina game, where we are divided 14-12 in favor of Philly. 15 of us have Dallas vs 11 going for Tampa Bay.
ElStud agrees with the majority in every single game, with Cowdoc close behind, differing from the majority only with his pick of Carolina.
On the other hand, Mysteryman thinks he knows better than the majority, begging to differ on 8 games. Right behind are George and Alex at 7.

Out comes the dreaded red highlighter, marking the losers. And the green one for the winners.
The very 1st game goes into overtime. A portent of things to come?

@realjohnboy,
not only did Kicky's steelers steal it to win, but the U.S. ambassador to Ireland also flew in for the occasion.

(OK, so it was steelers owner Dan Rooney, but hey...)

I know this is a lot to ask, but could you give us:
1. the current standings of all players on this thread; and
2.use reverse alphabetical order (my name would show up on top)

If you can't, I will understand. Smile

I love Big Ben telling the ball boy..."get me my hat...I wanna look good for Andrea Kramer" as he trotted out for the winning drive

@panzade,
There's two things to remember about that catch pan.

1-if the ball gets out of your hand when you hit the ground it's not a catch.

2- the batter, a Mr Matthew Hayden, carries on batting until he's got out. He could easy have gone on to make a big score and won the match on his own. He often did. That catch had a lot of pressure on it. There were millions watching.
