He didn't scream because screamiing fit into any plan. He screamed because Lorena had frustrated his plan---to live happily ever after with Sookie. Well, not "ever" after, just "until death do us part". But the point is, Lorena frustrated Bill's plans by persuading the King to abduct him from Louisiana.

Somehow that doesn't quite add up to me. Perhaps we need a female perspective on Bill's emotions at the time. I felt there was something more visceral happening with Bill than just frustration with failed plans. But I don't really know.

Lorene was his maker. She has power over him. I took his scream to be a combination of anger at her and at himself for having sex with her... even though it was out of his control. He has strong morals (well, for a vampire anyway) and would not have had sex with Lorena had she not forced him, out of respect and love for Sookie.

Oh, and yes, the pointy toed cowboy boots went into Bills house, found the secret file and took the guy Jessica was gonna chainsaw so he could behead him... Gawd, that was gruesome!... and get from Jessica on Sookie and Bill.

Did anyone notice Bills forehead turned darker when the King touched him there... And, then Bill went to bed and had nightmares to convince him that his wife and Sookie are better off without him? I think the King touching him did something to make Bill swear his allegience. I don't think he did it on his own or from threats from Lorena.

I did notice this tip of the king's index finger at Bill's forehead.

How did she force him? I don't get it.

Are you saying that a "maker" can compel a vampire that they've made, to do something against their will? If that's true then why did Lorena have to physically restrain Bill in the hotel room last season?

I'll have to re-watch the episode. I didn't notice that at all.

I rewatched one of the episodes and got an answer to one of my previous questions: Why would the Queen want to sell V? It turns out that she's broke and needs the money. I guess it just goes to show that some vampires aren't any better about managing their money than humans are. That's a pitiful display for someone who is probably many hundreds of years old.

It's the economy, stupid. Apart from that, good question! I guess we'll find out.

Also, can't a vampire track people that have tasted their blood? I wonder if it has to be directly from the source. It seems a way to track down easy food.

@rosborne979,
I'm smelling a Mississippi-Louisiana drug war. (Still not sure how the Bon Temps redneck meth lab fits in.)

@Thomas,
What was with the little "post mortem" thing at the end? They talked about how Vampires should be rolling in money because they had centuries to accumulate it, but the Queen of Louisiana seems to be broke. Was she just careless with her billions or bad at finance?

How does Franklin fit into this? Was he hired by Russell just to get background on Bill?

I like Franklin. He seems like the most creepy vampire of the bunch.

One thing is for certain, the vampires this season seem a lot more bloodthirsty than before, and bottles of TrueBlood don't seem to be much on the minds of these vampires.

... and background on Sookie, I think. A couple of episodes ago, when he dug into the drawer at someone's house (Bill's?), he seemed interested in a document with the Stackhouse's family tree. Perhaps he's interested in Sookie's powers?

In some of the anxilliary shows, several cast members say that True Blood is to Vampires what SlimFast is to humans. No wonder they don't think much of it.

Compound interest plus immortality does seem like a promising formula for wealth. One thing Bill says about the Queen of Louisiana is that she has the IRS in her neck. Perhaps she owes back taxes for several centuries? That sounds like a promising formula for ruin.

Where does the Magister fit into the hierarchy of the vampire society? Is he the oldest Vampire? If he's not, then who *is* the oldest vampire in the story so far?

Godric seemed profoundly different from the others. Was that just because of his age, or was he simply more enlightened by his general nature?

According to yesterday's postmortem, there's an organization called "The Authority" that the kings and queens report to. I would assume that the Magister is a member of The Authority.

I agree. Supposedly the oldest vampires are the strongest vampires. Do we know who the oldest vampire in TrueBlood is yet?

Good! Any thoughts about the church you want to get married in?
