And it remains the truth that you cannot provide any alternative motivation for trying to outlaw pistol grips on semi-auto long guns, if the motivation isn't the mere fact that progressives think that it is fun to violate people's civil liberties.

The logic would be that the one shooting the kids in Sandy Hook, Uvalde, and Parkland would be the one who wants to harm "us" (The kids). Teachers and staff should have had weapons to protect "us" (The kids)...

Your logic is like something a kid in kindergarten would have.

If someone is so stupid and unable to reason logically that they think laws that explicitly ban WEAPONS ARE NOT ABOUT BANNING WEAPONS BUT ABOUT BANNING A NON-,LETHAL PART OF THEM INSTEAD, THEN THEY ARE FAR TOO DUMB for anyone to take them seriously.

You clearly want to silence the truth whenever you see it.

And you are not alone. Look at the way that one school let a transgender guy keep going into girl's bathrooms and raping girls. When the father of one of the raped girls dared to challenge the school board's narrative of lies, they beat him up, tried to get him prosecuted for terrorism and hate crimes, did get him prosecuted for disturbing the peace, and made fun of him and taunted him online.

It's a very good thing that progressives no longer have the totalitarian power that they once had under the rule of their hero Stalin.
