Not wrong. The fight happened near Mr. Zimmerman's truck, and nowhere near Trayvon's back yard.
The back door to the unit where the fight happened was the guy who called 911 during the fight.
Had Trayvon been killed near the back door of his own unit, his father would not have needed to wait until morning to find out that his son was dead. If the fight and gunshot had not gotten his attention, all of the police activity around the dead body would certainly have been noticed.
Trayvon had five minutes to go home if he wanted to. He chose instead to try to murder the captain of the neighborhood watch.
