The number compiles the total number of gun deaths. It doesnt (as far as I know) sub categorize how many were accidental, or suicides, or killings by cops, or Muslim terrorists. ALTHOUGH, Im sure were we to desire that kind of breakdown it would be possible to acquire from the raw data.

credit for trying to turn the above point around to make it seem to support something you are about.
The point you wre trying to deny was that gathering such gun death data was something that the GOP had REMOVED from CDC's annual roster of non-sickness related deaths. You were trying to state that it was OK for th govt to redact all the gun death data under the Dickey Amendment, and that the redaction was in order to "preserve your freedom"

A knife makes it easy enough that anyone who is intent on murder is able to do so. That a gun makes it easier yet does not change much.
