First the Armenian soldiers in the army were disarmed.
What can minority do against a majority?
Then soldiers went out into to village and killed the men.
What can a couple of men do against a well armed large group of soldiers?

I was not refering to the great help that Americans and British have done to Europe during WWI, WWII and the cold war, but the Western European countries amongst themselves.
As western Europe also is a member of Nato it should help USA if needed.

American citizens have many reasons to be armed and it also happens to be a constitutional right.
This will not change.

As we now have tight anti-drug laws so she cannot get drugs if she wish?

You can take one solder with you to hell and if millions take one solder to hell with them then the cost of rounding up people by the millions will be your whole army.

Saab histroy is measure in hundred of years of time not a few generations.

Many long lasting empires in human history had period of peace and good will lasting generations.

Frankly however I am not worry at all about the likelihood of needing to fight my own government as it is small chance within the next few hundred of years at least in my opinion.

What annoy me is that any law or laws concerning guns will not keep one firearms away from one person who is willing to break the law to own one.

Saab and others please please tell me how any gun control law of any type up to a complete ban would stop one person from getting a firearm it they wish to.

As I said before if you can explain how you are gong to stop nuts and evil doers from owning guns then I will go along with any gun control law you would wish including a complete ban.

If you can disarm everyone not just the people who now legally own guns now and would follew your anti-gun laws I will go along with your plans .

If you don't believe that registration precedes seizure, then you just aren't paying attention.

It might be wise to register at least one, or a few guns,
for home defense because if thay r put to good use in
a defensive emergency which results in your having a few dead
criminal cadavers on your bedroom floor, u need to decide
how to address this situation. Some citizens (e.g. farmers) r better
off in their available options than others (e.g. urban apartment dwellers on hi floors).

As to those who choose to summon police
to this situation: will thay be more the victims' friends
or
the OPPOSITE ?
