Looks like Rush is outta the bag about what he , and by inference, all his clones and dittoheads really want.
Hey Rush, youre not a true American, youre a little douche bag parvenu. I HOPE YOU FAIL.

@farmerman,
I don't see how anyone could say that. Limbaugh doesn't seem to understand that if Obama fails, we all fail.

Then again, what do you expect from a guy who coined the term, "feminazi?"

I'm not asking you guys to love Rush. You can hate him and everything he says and stands for. I won't try to change your mind. I'm not even going to get into the 'feminazi' thing that is almost always mischaracterized and misunderstood by anti-Rush types and I say that as a dedicated, committed feminist. But guys, in order to have any honor here, you have to acknowledge what Rush said that he wants Obama to fail at. And that included a big "IF". . . .

@Lambchop,
Ditto. Rush, is trying to parse out the way he sees whats inevitable.
The fact is that we are in no way able to choose between two competing philosophies of governance, we are staring total financial ruin in the face . Rush will be ok and be able to smoke his Cubans and sip Puligny Montrachet from fine crystal while we slowly desecend into areas we havent been for over 80 years.

Rush has nothing to add but'Hey, I dont like you, but how can I help?"

Hes anti AMerican, the bloated ****.

@Lambchop,
So you were completely supportive of President Bush? You hoped he got through all the points of his agenda? That's commendable. I don't even know any conservatives who wanted him to be successful in all of his agenda.

But would I want somebody who is going to lead this nation right into the jaws of socialism and/or implement a lot of wrong headed policy that will change what has made us different and successful for more than 200 years to be successful in doing that? No I would not. That is what Rush is saying. Listen to the clip honestly and you will see that.

Fox, no one WANTED his agenda to fail. It's just that it was obvious that it would, and he was just too bone dumb and jackass stubborn to change it.

Cause thats what he told me he said when he restated what he said on his radio show the day after he said it to INANNITY.

We all supported Bush after 9/11. He took our trust and squandered all of it and most of the nation subsequently felt used . We hoped for the best during Bush years and I really dont think anyone wanted to have the canoe sink because of Bush's incompetence. But to almost demand failure of the barely week old administration is reprehensible and ANTI AMERICAN.
I wonder if hes back on the hillbilly heroin

@MontereyJack,
Yes, MJ, the anti-Bush haters and the staunch liberals wanted his agenda to fail. They didn't want his tax cuts to go through and they didn't want the tax cuts made permanent. Many didn't want Congress to continue funding the Iraq war. Very few approved of his faith based iniatives and condemned him because he vetoed funding for embrionic stem cell research. Many of us conservatives wanted his prescription drug initative to fail because most seniors didn't want or need it and we saw it as another huge federal entitlement that would soon be weighting us down. They haven't wanted him to get credit for anything other than bad stuff.

Rush has not been hateful toward Obama and, as he says, is at least willing to give him benefit of the doubt at this point. If Obama has his head on straight and pushes a rational and sensible agenda that will be good for America, he will have Rush's support and praise. But if Obama pushes a far left wing socialist agenda then Rush hopes he will fail in accomplishing that. So do I.

I know many conservatives (and liberals too) who were completely supportive of Pres. Bush after 9/11 and were even pro-Iraq war. Until they saw that kajillions of dollars were being spent with little or no results.

And I don't recall any liberal broadcaster (on TV or radio) just flat out saying, "I hope he fails," barely one week after him taking office.

@Foxfyre,
Scary such creatures have such influence.

He has a big following, doesn't he?

The nasty crap falls as relentlessly from his lips as one imagines it to have fallen from Goebbels'.

I wonder how many get their opinions from these shock jocks?

The reality of Limbaugh's character and Bush's character is all we need for conclusion.

They are shameless deceivers and bad for the whole of which some of us consider.

Fox : if by "fail" you mean "fail to pass", then yes, in that sense, we wanted them to fail, just as Republicans want much of possible Obama legislation to fail to pass. We didn't WANT them to fail, as such, because we knew the country had problems and the Bush agenda, rather than solving those problems, would just make it worse. We were right. We would rather not have had them in the first place. That's why Obama is rapidly dismantling as much as possible of what Bush did, and why 70% of the country approves of what he's done so far. It's more a case of disgust with Bush than hate of him. That's what it's always been.

He has made it CLEAR that he wants a far left collectivist program from oboy to fail,
if it is forthcoming
( by which oboy woud betray the individualism of basic Americanism )
but that if he followed a Reagan vu of America,
as he shoud, then he wants him to succeed.

U are MISREPRESENTING him and twisting his idea, Farmer
and then u condemn YOUR DISTORTION of what he said and blame it on him.

I don t think that s fair.

Limbaugh is as unAmerican as they come. Bush's programs were by and large not for the American people, but for he and his cronies. Of course I wanted him to fail, as a matter of self preservation.
