@mac11,
I like that answer Mac11. If it is a sincere answer you are wanting Boomer then I do believe it is that. I think that faith in God and the belief that he(Jesus) came to be the solution and a savior - for those who needed a solution and a Savior.
I do not believe he was into forcing his will on anyone. He offered himself as a sacrifice for many. Christians over the centuries behave as if Christianity is something to force on others. I do believe in some cases it is a desire to see everyone understand the satisfaction that can be found -but many times it is just the desire to be right. I do not believe that is what Jesus wants at all. He offers - and it's a choice as to whether we believe or not. Beyond that - we are to love our neighbor (that being anyone we come into contact with) as we love ourselves.
If I have learned anything from A2K - it is that there are many, many beliefs and many, many opinions. I am not the one who can make or pass judgement on anyone - and I choose not to. I live the way I am led and when asked - give an answer as to my faith.
