@NealNealNeal,
They twist that by saying he/their is the 'Trnity'.
The 'Holy Ghost' and 'TheFather' they say "indwells", so you come to all 3 !

Acts 5:3,4 shows that the Holy Spirit is God.

@theMadOne,
John 14-16 shows the relationship between the three Person's of the Trinity. The three Person's have different ROLES.

That's like saying the internet is your Mom because you talked to her on Zoom.

"Acts 5:3,4 shows that the Holy Spirit is God."
No it doesn't, and it's not the words of Christ...

Jesus taught no such thing. Let's take a look at it since you didn't quote it...

John 14:6- Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7- If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.

Where do you see the words "three, persons, or roles"?
I see the Christ and the way to his God.

@Leadfoot,
In these two verses there are the statements:
You lied to the Holy Spirit
You lied to God.
This is all part of a statement being made.

@theMadOne,
It certainly came from God because two people died.

@NealNealNeal,
Silly- the holy spirit (breath/wind, in Heb/Grk) is FROM God- not God himself, much less one of 3!

@theMadOne,
Quote:

I see Jesus as the earthly temple of the Lord, from which temple came the 'WORDS' of the Lord, saying; 'Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up."

Who raised the body of Jesus, the earthly temple, which had been filled with the spirit of our Lord God and saviour?

Acts 5: 30; The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you slew and hanged on a tree.

Acts 13: 30; But God raised him from the dead: and he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee, etc.

1st Corinthians 6: 14; And God has both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

2nd Corinthians 1: 9; But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead.

2nd Corinthians 4: 14; knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.

Acts 17: 31; For He (The Lord God our saviour) has fixed a day in which he shall judge the whole world with justice by means of a MAN he has CHOSEN. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that MAN from death.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19; YHVH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, says to Moses; "I will send them a prophet like you from among their own people; I will put MY WORDS in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command, and whosoever will not heed MY WORDS, which he shall speak in MY NAME, I will surely punish, etc.

Peter confirms that Jesus was that man, when, concerning the man Jesus, he says in. Acts 3: 22; For Moses said; "The Lord your God will send you a prophet, just as he sent me, and he will be one of your own people, etc."

Did the people of his day believe that he was the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of our ancestors? No, they did not, for on the day of his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the people escorting him cried out, "BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD" Verifying that they believed Jesus to be the one that God had promised Moses that he would choose from among the Israelites, and send to the people to speak in his name.

Jesus spoke not one word on his own authority, but only that which he was commanded to say by the Lord God our savior.

He is saying that Jesus was less than Yahweh. The author of Hebrews discussed an error similar to that of Anointed.
Yes, the role that Jesus had was subordinate to that of the Father. However Jesus is God as is the Holy Spirit.

@NealNealNeal,
The Holy Spirit is your phone line to God.
So if you lie through the phone, of course you have lied to God.

As is revealed throughout the NT, being the biological son of Mary and her half brother Joseph, who were both sired by Alexander Helios III of different mothers.

Who was the child of Abraham and his half sister Sarah, who was born according to God's promise and the workings of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is more than a "phone line". He is our Comforter, our Teacher, our Advocate, etc. He convicts us of sin, actively makes our requests known to the Father when we don't know how to pray. He convicts the "world of sin".
He is a Person. Jesus sent Him to us as a replacement for Jesus.
