David,

The study is using what is called a "double-blind" procedure. Neither the students nor the subjects know the identity of the people whose data is being evaluated. This is to ensure that the results of the study are not biased in any way. Thank you for your understanding.

I don't have an answer for that, David. Maybe farmerman will stop by this thread and explain.

If you want to move, ******* move already!

We don't need your kind here any way.

Perhaps instead of using all your energy hating what's happened and being sore losers, you should invest some of that energy into making things better with what you have. Put your energy into solving some real problems...like maybe donate some of your time to a food bank or to a hospice.

You are wasting your breath.

This reminds me of all the angry liberals that stated publicly that they would move out of the country if Bush was elected.
They made the same statement if Bush was elected for a second term.
None of these people followed through and I expect the same from anyone that said they would move if Obama was elected.
It is best for everyone that all of us ignore these people forever starting right now.

I think that Obama picking Emanuel was a great bit of political astuteness. As a former executive, I understand the value of playing "good cop/bad cop". Obama can be all sweetness and light and charisma, with Emanuel acting as his hatchet man.

Like it or not, it is a very effective way to govern.

Oh boy, so what we need are more hatchet men? Crooked ones from Chicago too?

Believe me, phoenix, Obama can do no wrong, according to the main stream media. They will have an explanation as to why everything Obama does is absolutely brilliant and a stroke of genius. I will never forget the Clinton era, when it was brilliant to lie, he was so good at it, it was admirable, they complimented Clinton. Well, this will be the same thing, no matter how bad Obama screws up everything royally, or oversteps his authority, or blunders, it will be brilliant.

About the hatchet man routine, I read the same brilliant analysis, you are free to buy it, I don't. I interpret it to mean Emanuel is a very angry guy, with an axe to grind, he takes no prisoners, and Obama seems to gravitate to some of these people. I am concluding from this that Obama may govern alot differently than he campaigned. That Obama may maintain an image of sweetness and light, never ruffled, but underneath he is also an angry guy with a huge agenda, and he may take no prisoners in regard to enacting his agenda. After all, what has all this change been about, certainly not a tweaking of the laws, but he implies a complete overhaul of anything or everything.

I heard a guy say the other day, david, that he had seen demolition derbies, but he had never seen an entire country engage in one like they did November the 4th.

And criminy, we have children now singing songs to Obama. How sick is this society?

@Rockhead,
I hope you are right, but with Congress and the great Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, they could leave a pretty big path of destruction. Then with judges to make up stuff, add a few executive orders, and yeah, things could be in one sad state of affairs 4 years from now.

Things are going to get ugly -- very, very, ugly.

I feel like on Tuesday night we sighted the iceberg from the Titanic.

Thay turn the tiny little rudder left;
we can ring all the alarm bells that we want,
but all the king 's horses and all the king 's men
will not be able to have us avoid hitting that ice -- too soon.

@Intrepid,
Even now the technology of surveillance is formidable.
A few cameras around; not many yet.
Some camera-bearing satellites up yonder

We will see what Marxist creativity can come up with
qua future technology of surveillance;
(well, maybe we won t actually SEE it).

I wonder what Marxism can do to the FBI.

Those were the DAYS my friend;
we thought thay 'd NEVER end . . .
