Them boys and girls from the god squad aren't being honest about that eternal life ****. In the first place, if you don't suck up, you'll still have eternal life--you'll just spend it in Hell. In the second, the ones who get eternal life in heaven have to spend the rest of eternity singing the praises of the puerile **** on the throne of god.

@Philis,
You are not the owner of the thread.

In addition, I'm free to counter your silly propaganda.

No need to read any anger in between the lines, it's already expressed with sufficient strenght..

Francis, I suspect that the remark was not directed to u,
but rather toward someone who is far, far inferior to u.

@Setanta,
You know me, Set.

I have never promised eternal life for all.

The choice is between life and death.

Heaven? Before you get there, you would have to die first.

Bummer.

BTW, it's good to see yer furry face.

Well thought out and perfectly 'christian' response.

With friends like you, God doesn't need enemies.

Heavens forbid!

Heaven can be a terrestrial thing, I tell you.

@Francis,
Have you read the bible anytime?

@gold einstein,
If you had read the silly book as many times as I have, maybe it would prevent you from posting events many don't care about...

@neologist,
After a few years of exegesis, I got fed up with every statement contradicting the previous one.

Not only that but the description of a jealous, murderous, vengeful god, along with the hypocrisy of the church, finished the job of putting me apart of the religious stuff.

@Francis,
U can read the experiences of people who have gone thru death
and returned from it. Somehow, I suspect that u will not,
more likely being satisfied to re-define death.

That 's OK; it will make no difference.

@OmSigDAVID,

Do you have any thoughts of your own?

Your quoting of the silly book seems to demonstrate that it's not the case...

@gold einstein,
Eccl 5.6:-As the living are conscious that they will die, but because the dead are not conscious of anything, nor have they any more pay, because the memory of them is forgotten. Moreover, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any part-time indefinite in anything that needs to be done under the sun.
This is my thought.

@Francis,
Col. 1: 15 - He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Thurs 14:28 - You heard that I told you: I go away and come back to you. If you loved me, I rejoice that I am going to the Father because the Father is greater than me. Phil 2: 6 - which, although there was in the form of God, not considered a robbery, that would be equal with God.
