Oneness vs. Trinity

Think of Jesus as a medium, channeling God. God bein in him, Jesus was a person with a body and a name.
God is all everything.

The bit about nobody being good except god seems to me as a matter of interpretation.

Jesus was a prophet and a vessel. God shone through him, and lived in him. So one could say "Jesus was God" if they're referring to jesus' physical body.
Or say Jesus was seeing and being god while god chose to be in him.
Which might explain the proclamations and conflicting accounts on the subject.

Maybe we are closer in thinking than is perhaps evident in postings. I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I have not, however, said or alluded to 3 Gods.

You have given scripture yes and I addressed them explaining what everylasting Father, etc., can mean.

You have, as of yet, to explain away one single scripture I have give you where Jesus says He has a Father.

Okay you seem to be getting rather upset and I certainly don't want that. I thought this was a discussion. The fact is scripture says this: There are three that bear record in heaven................and these three are one. Can you explain that?

Can you explain "if you deny me before men I will deny you before MY FATHER?" Can you explain Jesus praying that the disciples are one as Jesus and the Father are one? Did Jesus forsake himself on the cross since you say He's the father? Was he doing a ventriloquist act when he got baptized? Jesus, the Son, God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit were all there at one time. Yet, you want everyone to believe God pulled a fast one and tricked everyone? This is not the character of God at all.

All you have done is repeat the same thing over and over again. You have not addressed any of these questions.

Everlasting father, father of our faith, etc. It does not mean Jesus is the Father as you are claiming. Do you delve into the Greek and Hebrew meanings of words? The bible was not written in English.

According to scripture, Jesus is NOT the father. If He is the Father, THEN HE LIED! He would have been lying when he said the Father sent me IF he was the Father. He would have been lying when he was praying to the Father IF he is the Father. Now, explain to me why Jesus would lie?

If you do not care to continue this conversation that is fine with me. I was not being nasty to you or anything and all you are doing is repeating the same thing over and over again and ignoring anything I give you. Surely you have some explanation for the scriptures I have given you?

And if I may, stop telling me to seek, ask, pray and fast! I have studied this extensively and I have prayed about it. Until you can explain those verses to me that make it clear Jesus is NOT the father, I will believe what the bible says.

This is another reason I don't buy your oneness heresy. Even though I tell you I believe what the bible says, that there is one God but I don't know how He does it, you continue to call me a liar (by your implication) and say I believe in three Gods.

I asked you about certain scriptures because I honestly wanted to understand how you could still say Jesus is the Father in light of them.

I believe in ONE GOD and yes, I get pretty offended when I tell someone something and they pretty much call me a liar.

God is spirit. He is not a person. Godhead = Father, Son, Holy Spirit

Thing is, you, me, Intrepid, etc., none of us know exactly how God does these three are one. I just believe the bible for what it says.

I did address the one scripture I was in disagreement with you about. The others needed no addressing.

Who is the Father?.....God

Who is the Word?......God

Who is the Holy Ghost?.....God

Who is Jesus? .....God

The Word is not a people or a persons....No, it is a revelation that the Word is GOD......neither is the Father,Son or Holy Ghost ...They are God Manifested not individual persons as the trinity doctrine suggest.

Again, I never called you a LIAR (again that is strong).......and i have answered your questions to the best of my knowledge, now whether you think they need not addressing is up to you they ARE ANSWERS......you are right we don't understand how God does this but what we can understand is that God is not a person or people and the trinity doctrine does suggest just that!....again i'm not saying YOU said God is a people I'm saying if you research or just read what I posted a few post back about where and when the trinity doctrine was established you will find that they suggest just that.

You have not addressed a single scripture I asked you about. You obviously do not intend to. I am not going to get into a spat with you about this. I am not going to argue with you at all.

When you first started posting I was really glad because I thought maybe I could get some of my questions answered that obviously only a oneness person could answer since it is your belief.

Now I remember why I don't post on the S&R threads much anymore.
