@old europe,
I am sure Fitzgerald has no suspicions either that Obama knew anything about this case, I think he just interviewed Obama and others of his staff, along with FBI agents present, for the sheer fun of it, oe, and besides he isn't busy enough and needed something to do before the holidays.

@okie,
I see you desperately try to change the topic. In fact, it comes across as if you're trying to hide something. The way you're abruptly changing the topic, I mean. If I was somebody looking out for someone who's trying to hide a lobotomy, that'd really make me suspicious. After all, why would somebody not reply on topic if he has nothing to hide?

Not that I'm saying you've had a lobotomy, mind you. You're a fine guy. Just saying that, if you had had a lobotomy and you were trying to hide it, suddenly changing the topic would be the way to go. Not that think you're hiding anything. Sure, everybody is hiding something, but that's not what I mean.

After all, why would you hide the fact that you had a lobotomy, I ask you? If you had had a lobotomy, that is. Which you haven't had. At least not that I know of. And I'm certainly not saying you've had a lobotomy either.

@old europe,
I've always had the idea that you, oe, are someone who intensively is engaged in researching lobotomy cases. Not that I know of any of your papers - if you wrote some or are really such a specialist.
But usually those specialists come out during the Christmas period, I'm speculating. At least, I could imagine such.
But since you said nothing about okie's lobotomy (nota bene: I'm not saying that he has or had had one!) to get nailed, I really don't know if you are one of those specilists.
Not that I would testify such, and most people can be such specialists.

@okie,
I don't know if okie has had a lobotomy or to what extent his lobotomy was. I do think he has already tried to mislead us in regard to his involvement with lobotomies, so that raises a red flag. I actually doubt okie has had a lobotomy but there is some possibility that he has and needs to suck it up for a couple of years, and then maybe he could be given a lobotomy down the road? Or he could have heard about getting a lobotomy and he refused. Both of those possibilities would not be good for okie when it comes to lobotomies. We hope to know all of that, but remember what we are talking about here, its lobotomies, okie. Can you handle that? I will be here to hold you accountable, if you can handle it, if okie turns out to be telling less than the truth or has been involved in any way whatsoever with lobotomies.

Somehow I don't think you will ever admit anything okie.

@parados,
As I have said numerous times, okie may be innocent of having a lobotomy, or he may be only guilty of knowing more about this than he admits, which is what I suspect. But I do not honestly know, but one thing I do know, okie has not been entirely forthcoming and open to clearing up the suspicions, so I along with the entire country will continue to follow the story, I am not going to give a pass to okie.

Fast forward to McCain now just faced with holding his seat in the Senate, and troubled waters could be ahead even for that. John, see what "reaching across the aisle" gets you? Proof again that voters want their candidate to pick a lane to travel in, because sitting in the middle of the road does not invite as many passengers, and its a good place to get run over.

"McCain Faces Potentially Tough Re-Election Bid, Poll Suggests

Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, a Phoenix talk radio show host, is running neck to neck with Sen. John McCain in a new Rasmussen poll, even though Hayworth has not decided yet whether he will mount a challenge. "

Funny. I wonder just how many have entertained the thought that sarah palin was selected as running mate in order to keep McCain from becoming president. . . that the nomination was given to him as an award for sitting (there is one bill that bears his name) in Congress for so long and that the Republicans willingly handed the presidency to Obama and the Democrats?

Did anyone read in either Salon or The New Republic that Obama is what used to be called a moderate Republican?

@plainoldme,
i've always felt that was the case

the winner of the 2008 election was in for a world of hurt, if the conservatives can keep from imploding they can't help but win the election 2012, at least as it appears now, i felt they sacrificed two non entities (mccain because of his age/palin because, well, she's palin), in order to not hurt a better choice 4 years later

@plainoldme,
i'm not sure there is a better, but mccain was certainly expendable

i don't really care for any party, and being a canadian it doesn't really matter to me for the most part, but it's always interesting to see what's going on

You got fooled by that schtick, eh, Okie. The man was so confused, still is, even worse now I suspect, that he would say whatever came to his mind without even considering what he had said prior, sometimes just a few sentences before.

Has anyone ever dropped off the radar screen so fast as McCain? Shot down yet again, I doubt he will get up in the air again.

You must not have read my opinions during the campaign. I was never fooled by McCain, in fact, I said the man was a bit naive. He always thought he could get everyone to love him, both Democrats / liberals and Republicans / conservatives, and the guy was always so flattered to get onto all the weekend shows by virtue of the fact that he would criticize his own fellow Republicans, but what he failed to realize is that the Democrats used him and played him for all he was worth. With all of that said however, the man at least loves his country and we would all be infinitely better off now if he were president. A president need not be perfect, but at least he should love the country, that would be nice.

Thats fine, nobody is so valuable that he cannot be replaced. We need true committed conservatives to come forth, for the cream to rise to the top, with leadership ability, character, and commitment to the right principles.
