@Izzie,
Dear Izzie, you can't expect to do anymore, you have done everything possible to help your son, you're a wonderful mother, but please look after yourself also, don't run yourself into the ground. Who will fight for him then? As always you're in my thoughts and sending you lots of vibes, that's all I can do from this end. (((Izzie)))

@Dutchy,
It's all gone well. He's doing brilliant. It feels "normal" ... few touchy moments. Teenage stuff.

He has such a wicked laugh. He's laughed a lot.

@Izzie,
I'm here, just been really busy & having trouble sleeping. Ugh. The 'Things' are good. They have the day off for a school holiday tomorrow & are gearing up for halloween.
School's done, but 'graduation' ceremony isn't 'til December. Have some 'tidying' up studying to do before then. Been volunteering at the counseling center here and there, but no co-counseling yet - = ( It'll come, I'm sure.
Hubby is awaiting news of a technical interview this week for the job he's applied for. We shall see. I'll let you all know when we know something. Hope you are well.

@Izzie,
I think I have got to the end of what I can handle emotionally - I don't think there is a lower level to get to. I don’t know how to do anything any longer. I’ve got scared now about how to get through today. I’m going to Tulips for a while but that's not fair on her and S-boy will see me. I wish I was stronger.

@Izzie,
That's ok -- reaching the end means there's only one way to go. Up! You've hit bottom. Now what are you going to do? You can stay there or you can slowly start to climb back. Finding bottom can be a good thing -- so long as you realize that you're at the bottom and you're not going to let yourself sink any lower.

The other thing to realize is that this wasn't a free fall. It was a long time coming and drawing the line in the sand of "this is it" may be extremely difficult, but it can be an emotional release of it's own.

You've found bottom, or drawn the line, or... however you want to term it but fear isn't what's going to get you through this day. It's realizing that the bottom has been reached... finally...

Rest.

Breathe.

Don't do anything else.

Today, just be.
