@Francis,
Romance is obviously Francis forte, let see if our wandering minstrel Tryagain, comes up with something equally as good.

First look at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Last updated at 6:34 PM on Saturday, 19th March 2011

The film that Harry Potter fans have been waiting for - and dreading - is approaching fast.

On July 15, the final instalment in the Harry Potter series will be released, bringing an end to the action-packed saga that has gripped the world for over 15 years since J.K. Rowling's first novel was released.

A sneak peek at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has been released, with a teaser trailer and the film's stars talking about what we can expect from the climactic film.

The first Deathly Hallows film broke an incredible five box office records in the UK when it was released in November.

It took in £18.3 million on its opening weekend in the UK and $125 million at the US box office. To date it has taken an estimated £404 million worldwide.

The final film will the see the much-anticipated battle between Harry Potter and his nemesis Lord Voldermort.

In the featurette, Daniel Radcliffe says: 'Something's got to give. Harry is aware that the floodgates are open and that he is going to have to be the one that deals with Voldermort.

The reason they're on this journey is much bigger than any one of them. It has to come to a head at some point,' he says.

'This is it, really. This is the end of the line,' Rupert Grint, who plays Harry sidekick Ron Weasley, adds.

After spending months searching the country for Voldermort's horcruxes - the source of his power and immortality - in order to defeat, Harry and his friends will eventually return to Hogwarts for the final showdown.

The first Deathly Hallows ended with Harry, Hermione and Ron on a mission to find these objects, and becoming increasingly frustrated with their lack of progress.

While the last film was described as a something of a road trip film, concentrating on the complex emotions and relationships of Harry and his best friends, the final chapter will be all action.

'It ties up every single loose end of the whole saga. The scale of this one feels enormous,' Emma Watson promises. 'Your heart is going to race.'

In between quests for hidden horcruxes and duals with Lord Voldermort, Harry finds time for a little romance.

The newly-released clip shows a lingering kiss between Harry and his love interest Ginny Weasley.

Fans of the book are also looking forward to the highly anticipated embrace between Hermione and Ron.

Rupert Grint spoke about kissing his co-star, recently announced as the new face of Lancome, during promotion work for the last instalment.

'It was actually okay, he said. 'It was just the anticipation. Neither of us were looking forward to it.

'I’ve seen her grow up and known her since she was nine. It just doesn’t feel right.'

Emma has had to get hot and heavy with moth her leading men, after kissing Radcliffe for a scene in Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in which Ron imagines his best friends betraying him.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released in the UK on July 15.

The Sorting Hat Song:

"Oh you may not think I'm pretty, but don't judge on what you see, I'll eat myself if you can find a smarter hat than me."

"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"

"You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart"

"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind."

"Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends."

—The Sorting Hat

Too many Harry Potter movies - the novelty has worn off! I wish they'd translate good old Karl May into English...

@CalamityJane,
Up to 11 movies are they? Or something like that?

The trend ends? Or not?

@jespah,
Very good benefits from the Harry Potter books. They actually got my children interested in reading. I am indebted to J. K. Rowling.

@wandeljw,
What Harry Potter was for the little ones, for us (with teenies) the "Twilight"
series got my child into reading. Still does, but only vampire and werewolf books *sigh* - thank goodness for school where they read Ayn Rand and Dickens...

@CalamityJane,
Xenophobia or xenomania stories..

Quote:
(Newser) – A restaurant in Hawaii is under review by the state's Civil Right Commission because of its policy of adding a 15% gratuity to the bills of patrons who don't speak English. The Waikiki eatery says the policy isn't xenophobic—it's just that many customers come from abroad where tipping isn't customary and it needs to take care of its staff, reports AP.

The Consumerist notes that problems with foreign non-tippers isn't new in the restaurant world, but doesn't think this solution will fly. "The decision to add the surcharge to only non-English-speaking customers' bills is problematic, at least from a logistical point of view. Many tourists know at least a few words of English and a good deal of them are conversant. At what point does someone qualify for the surcharge?"

@Francis,
Yugoslavians certainly could be educated in the finer points of tipping.

@jespah,
Ze Germans could too! 15 % gratuity is added automatically by every German restaurant, they prefer the same in other countries they visit - just to be sure. Some of my fellow countryman are downright stingy when it comes to others than their own.

Abject thanks to Samuel Johnson who claimed that he could finish his dictionary in three years. Although he did not succeed, he did manage to finish it in nine.

Notwithstanding that I still had to resort to Richard Mulcaster’s 'Elementarie' to find the meaning of flindermouse.

In comparison, the Académie Française had forty scholars spending forty years to complete its French dictionary.

However they did managed to list more words for love. I therefore defer to dear Francis as I would as soon try to light a fire with snow, as seek to kindle the fire of love with words as its medicinal compound is efficacious and sans equivalent.

@Tryagain,
Better for Tryagain to proceed slowly in his quest for literacy. We do not want him to have a nervous breakdown.

@Tryagain,
Clearly animated by some "late season blossom" feelings our excellent and eminent casuist T.R.Yagain decided to express himself with his costumary, and also legendary, verbosity.

Yet, he defers to me on the sensitive subject of words of love.

Words of love are often gracile but also very fragile.

They can only be understood by those who are ready to listen to their hearts.

They are not for the half-hearted.

To others, such words are lies, insults, even wrath and hatred.

As so, I'm in no position to claim any expertise about the feelings behind the words, not more than the words themselves.

But when those words are accepted, I cannot agree more on their healing virtues..

Cheers!

@Francis,
Don't mix me up with words of love, when words of lust will work just as well.

Exalted one thank God you haven't changed Jes. I was so worried when I learnt she had become a Ombudsmen!

What does RP think of having two men in the house?

Meanwhile, back to Lust...
A client recently discussed her 30 day marriage, which, she thinks, may be coming to an end. I know that may seem a long time to y'all but this is Las Vegas, not some Seventh-Day Evangelist from Frankfurt-Flughafen; I was talking about Frankfort, the city in Kentucky that serves as the state capital and the county seat of Franklin County.

People caught in lust exude that sickly sweet odour of perfection, as they gaze into each other's eyes and profess undying and unchanging desire.
The first few cracks in this veneer happen as “I’m just suggesting this to make you even more perfect!” Inevitably, the other shoe drops, and you realize you are in relationship with a real person, foibles and all.

I got Dosed by you and,
Closer than most to you and,
What am I supposed to do,
Take it away,
I never had it anyway,
Take it away,
And everything will be okay...

- Thank you Red Hot CP

From the A2K travel correspondent:

It was primarily due to finical considerations that I returned to shore with my mission to find the source of the Mississippi unfulfilled. The hour of hire was all too soon at hand so I disembarked before attracting an excess charge and bid Lake Titicaca a lingering fond farewell.

Next week; Naturist Camping – How 2 linger with intent.

Haven't you read Tryagain's many other accounts? It seems that he is always on some type of naturist excursion. Some places he even got close to being arrested.
