Awww, won't be the same without Anthony. I'll miss him. Mila should have gone -- that dress was just awful.

Maya's was the best...thought for sure she'd win last night. I'm wondering if she's the one at the center of all the controversy next week...maybe she quits?

@Irishk,
Anthony is cute and all, but he's not a very good designer. They kept him as long as they could. Mila's dress was dreadful. They will give Jonathon one more chance and then I predict he will be gone. I think Mila will be the fourth designer...the one that will get the axe at Bryant Park.

I can't say that any of the top designs from this week got my juices flowing. Maya's fabric was the best. I thought Emilio's dress looked weird. Seth Aaron's was very him, but I still didn't like it. I thought that he made a mistake using that fabric for the entire jacket. It was too much.

@Swimpy,
Swimp, I agree that Maya's fabric design was the best. But I didn't like her dress.

When Emilio was working on his fabric, I thought he was nuts. But it looked better than I thought it would.

I didn't like Seth Aaron's fabric at all. But the design of his outfit made up for it.

Let's face it. To some extent, this is a matter of taste, especially when the less talented designers are weeded out.

Irishk, I knew you'd be disappointed when Anthony was voted out. I actually thought of you when Heidi said, "auf Wiedersehen."

Anthony had a great personality, but was meh as a designer. Seth Aaron is technically the best taylor, but I find his designs too stiff and the average woman would look silly in most of them. That said, I think he has a good shot at winning. The HP marketing worked, I want one of those paint on screens. It's not too difficult to get your own fabric design made anymore. I have a place within an hours drive of my rural town that does it.

What is this? A way for Heidi to get free clothes? The second time this season the challenge/design was for her.

I loved Emilio's design. The first time this year (I think) I can speak with enthusiasm.

Hey, Irishk, Anthony is back--and in winning form.

Can't believe Mila is still there. Can't believe Maya quit.

@Roberta,
Maya quitting was a shocker. Anthony made the most of his second coming. I did like Emilio's dress. Like they said, it could have gone very wrong.

OMG I loved last night's episode!!! Did you think the judges were a little over the top with their comments on his dress? It was pretty, but looked like something I could whip up LOL. Still love him, though...I really do think that he'll be the one who is remembered most from this season. He probably won't make it to final 3, but IMO he doesn't have to. His charisma and likeability will be a big part of his success. He's good people (I also like Monique the best of all the models and he kept her for next week).

Emilio's dress was the clear winner...that fabric was see-through and tissue-like and he worked magic on it. He's all business...in it to win it but needs a personality transplant LOL.

Would have been fun to see what Ping would have come up with for last night's challenge, no??? Laughing

@Roberta,
I finally caught an episode! The one where they designed their own fabric. Nice idea!

I didn't like Maya's design much, was a bit surprised at the praise lavished on it. Anthony's was decidedly pedestrian so I wasn't surprised to see him go (he comes back??) I loved the 80's Haring-esque print 40's outfit. I thought the mod one was well-done but I didn't like it much myself. The dirty tablecloth print had potential, I think it had to be on some light airy silk like the original butterfly print that Vivienne Tam showed for it to really work. The twill was too tablecloth-y and it also bunched in a weird way in the front of the skirt, made it look messy.

This is the first one I've seen (or remember seeing?) on Lifetime, the production values are definitely different. Tim keeps fading into the background, he's not as crisply shot.

@sozobe,
Oh and Mila's dress was awful. Something interesting could've been done with her print, that was not it.

Anyone watch last night? Anyone think all the creations looked 'costumy'? I did. Hoping Jay beats Mila for a chance at Bryant Park.

@Irishk,
I watched. I don't know how you can make something inspired by the circus without it being costume-y. I thought they were all pretty interesting. I thought the one that got sent home was the right choice. It was just poorly made...as Heidi says, it looked home-sewn. Emilio's was really good. I didn't find it costume-y. Seth Aaron's was definitely a costume, but I thought it was cool. The other 2 were fine but not memorable.

Agree totally that Emiio won that one. I thought Jay's jacket was stunning. Seth Aaron's outfit was a costume and very Seth Aaron. Mila's design was eh. Gotta agree that Anthony didn't win that one.

Sorry to see that Jay is gone. I think he showed some real innovation. Mila's stuff bores me.

@Roberta,
I think it could have gone either way. Jay is more interesting. Michael Kors seems to love him. Maybe he'll give him a job.

Mila's stuff still bores me. Seth Aaron's stuff is interesting and innovative (to a degree). Emilo's designs are wearable. A few are even beautiful. I was disappointed, but not surprised, that he didn't win.

@Roberta,
I agree. Emilio's designs were really high quality ready to wear, not couture. His gown was stunning and I loved that turquoise jacket. The other pieces were wearable but not memorable.

I knew Seth Aaron was going to win. I think all three of them, all four of them really if you include Jay, will be working in some fashion house very soon.

@Swimpy,
I drooled over Emilio's turquoise jacket.

I kinda knew Seth Aaron would win too. Just wanted Emilio to win. He's the only one who designs things that are beautiful.

C'est la vie.

I liked Emilio's best (stuff I would wear), so I knew he wouldn't win lol. I like Seth Aaron better as a person so was ok with him being the winner.

Anthony was so funny on the reunion show.

Jay said mean things about that model from Ireland...who knew he was so catty?

@Irishk,
They had the reunion show already? I missed that.

Emilio is very full of himself.I suppose that's what you need to get ahead in a cutthroat world. Michael Kors said Emilio presented a line not a collection. I think he meant that Emilio wants to sell his stuff now. I'd buy that turquoise jacket now.

I new Jay was a bitch.
