I thought the wining outfit looked like a bride's maid dress from the 1980's. Maybe it's better in person. I also thought the second runner up was the best of the lot. The shorts and vest creator deserved to go home.

Has anyone else noticed that on every episode they have done a close up of a contestant's Hewlett Packard drawing tablet? Even if they don't show clearly what is being drawn, they do a close up of the HP logo. I wonder if HP is paying them for the product placement.

@Green Witch,
I've noticed. It's hard to not notice. Cheesy if you ask me.

The accessories wall, the hair salon, the makeup used, the sewing machines, Mood. All product placement. Hey, everybody's gotta make a living.

I can't get into or navigate the Lifetime Web site. Still can't remember the loser. Still think the shorts were worse.

I agree about Mila. Now that Ping is gone (and my skin is no longer crawling), I can actively dislike someone.

@Roberta,
I think the shorts lady got the boot. I actually thought that the bridal dress thing was worse than the shorts.

@Swimpy,
You're probably right. I'll see if I can catch the last ten minutes when Lifetime reruns the show.

Swimpy, You were right. The shorts lady did get eliminated.

I like the challenge this week. Fun and not surprising that something additional was thrown in midway through.

I agreed with the winner and the loser. The jacket on the adult was laughable. However, the weirdy pants outfit (child and adult) was also laughable, but not boring.

@Roberta,
The winning outfit was really cute. The adult outfit was amazing. That jacket was really cool. I think that designer will be in the finals. Amy was put on notice. She screws up again and she's gone.

I watched the show tonight with my friends and their 4.5 year old who is really into Project Runway. She was glued to the screen when the kids came on. Her favorite was Jay's, I think. It was the little gray dress with cattiwompass stripes and the red coat. She also liked Emilio's pink princess dress.

Hardware?!

Not a bad idea for a challenge.

I liked the winning outfit a lot. Also liked the runner up.

I thought the wrong person went home. The guy who made the bikini shoulda been outta there.

@Roberta,
I thought Maya should have won, but the winning outfit was pretty fantastic. Who would have thought you could make garbage bags look like leather? Emilio was saved by his past performances. Jesse went home because he hadn't really done anything memorable.

@Swimpy,
Hey, Boida! Did you watch this week? I didn't agree with the winner, but none of the outfits stood out. Not a particularly interesting challenge.

@sozobe,
Maybe so. I'm losing interest in this group of designers. somebody better do something spectacular pretty soon.

I watched, but I can't remember much. No color despite having the elements to play with. In my neck of the woods, fire has color.

Boring and disappointing this season.

@Roberta,
Maybe it's just run it's course, but I'm not as interested in this show as I used to be.

Color was almost totally absent. Why? Is gray the new red? Ugh!

@Swimpy,
I watched the last 20 minutes, just to be reminded of what was on. That was a few hours ago, and it's all still forgettable. Can't believe the person with the hair in the dress/on the chest didn't lose.

The winner was eh. In fact everybody but the worst was eh.

A vague and amorphous challenge. Represent the four elements. And the brightest color was a kind of brown. You may be right, swimpy. Maybe gray is the new red. Red sure as hell isn't the new red.

@Roberta,
Oh yea the hair chest! Ha! A modern take on the hair shirt? What was she thinking? At least I give her props for not being boring.

And Seth Aaron's outfit, in any other challenge would have won. What did it have to do with an element? I don't even know what element he was using.

@Swimpy,
I didn't think any of this week's were anything to write home about.

@Swimpy,
You got that right. I'm beginning to wonder whether this group is color blind. China town gray? East Village. Harlem? They've got to be kidding. Of the four neighborhoods, the only one I'd consider grayish is the Upper East Side--where I live. Of course, I don't own gray at the moment, but I always was a bit eccentric.

Question: Has Mila designed the same thing eight times? It's hard to tell.

@Roberta,
You can tell they've watched past seasons and are anticipating the comments/criticism somewhat. Anthony (my favorite) and his partner were wary of using the traditional red/gold colors found in Chinatown for fear of being judged 'too literal'. In the previous week's episode, Anthony interpreted the element 'fire' by using the colors gray and black, saying those are the colors he remembered in the aftermath of a house fire in his youth.

Yes, Mila seems to be a one-trick pony with her constant use of black/white and color blocking. I hope Anthony wins...he's not the greatest designer there probably, but I love his attitude and personality LOL.

Stunned that Mila wasn't voted out. Stunned, I tell ya. Yucky outfit. Idiotic print. Dress you couldn't walk in. What more do you need?

I thought Seth Aaron's outfit was a stunner, but I liked Emilio's as well.

An interesting challenge. What you can do with computers is amazing.
