@Roberta,
I started watching it, but fell asleep just before the runway. I woke up when they were bringing back the best and the worst. I'm still fuzzy about who won but I think I can guess which one rubbed you the wrong way.

It's on too late for me. If I sit down to watch TV after 9 pm, I am gonna fall asleep. It's a given.

@Swimpy,
You can watch online, Swimpy. I don't have cable, but Lifetime usually puts up each episode on their website with 48 hours of it airing on TV.

@Swimpy,
I think the editing on the Bravo version was way better. Something about the pacing, about the storylines, about the characterization is just lacking in the Lifetime version. The cast is of course a variable there but even Heidi, Tim and the judges have less sparkle so I think it's a production thing rather than just a casting thing.

@sozobe,
I think that Heidi's company still produces the show. They just sell it to the network. I suspect that the format is just getting tired.

@Swimpy,
I think the ideas for challenges are no longer fun, exciting, or interesting. They used to have to make outfits from garbage, candy, fruit, etc. Usually fun to watch, and these challenges required lots of creative thinking.

The challenges have become lame.

I hope the next one to go is the upside the head one. How much snarling can a person (me) do in one hour?

@Roberta,
Interesting challenges for sure, but fabulous designs are lacking as well.

@Swimpy,
I agree. Not much to get excited about in the designs.

Didn't they used to have two challenges per episode? A minichallenge and the major challenge. Or am I thinking of another show?

I liked this week's challenge.

Spoiler alert. If you haven't seen the show yet, don't scroll down.

THUD! So it's ok to have someone's ass sticking out on the runway. The same person with the bare ass had hips a yard wide. The losing dress was a mess, but at least the model didn't have her ass showing.

I liked the winning dress, and I liked the one that was done in soft petals of burlap.

At last an episode that didn't have me nodding off.

@Roberta,
Ha! It's going to be the next big thing, the assless dress!

Obviously the judges thought tasteless was a worse sin than assless. That blue thing was hideous. The great thing about this challenge was the number of designers who rose to it. There were at least ten outfits that were good to very good. I even though Anthony's was good. Maybe I misjudged him.

I thought they picked the best one as the winner. I don't know how he did that. He transformed that material into something totally different. Fabulous, dahling.

I thought the assless dress was tasteless as well. Who would wear pockets that make your hips look like balloons? Still, the loser was a mess.

I agree that the majority of designers really stepped up. Some amazingly good stuff from a burlap bag.

Oh, I don't disagree at all. Ping has been granted a stay of execution because her first runway look was interesting. I'm afraid that's all she's got, though.

I was not enamored of the winning outfit. The jacket was smart and elegant. The blouse was nondescript, and the pants looked like gym clothes.

I thought the right person went home. I felt sorry for her partner--from the moment they became partners.

I didn't think the black and yellow dress was a terrible as the judges did.

I'm having a terrible (impossible) time navigating the Web site. I wanted to see the designs again. C'est la vie.

@Roberta,
Yep, Ping = bad. I agree with you about the winning outfit. Not smart at all. I thought the runners up should have won. Jesus ( I think that's his name) lucked out getting the partner he got.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Why do I keep watching this show? Dunno. Guess it's become a habit.

Although I admire the idea behind this week's challenge, more than a dozen nondescript red dresses with Campbell's soup labels somewhere on them could put to sleep hardened insomniacs.

There was an interesting challenge a couple of weeks ago, and the outfits were imaginative and creative. I guess the designers rise or fall depending on what's asked of them.

The winning dress moved well but wasn't anything special. I think the judges were overly hard on the losing dress. The losing runner up was far worse, IMO. Hey, what do I know?

@Roberta,
I think the loser deserved to lose. The second worst was really bad, too. It was probably the worst dress in this challenge, but they consider previous performance and the loser had some other pretty bad designs. I thought the winning dress was really flattering on the model.

The website is terrible. I watch on-line and they sometimes forget to put up the last 10 minutes and you get some extra video footage instead. It takes them days to fix it. I think this season is better than last season. I can't remember anything from last season. I liked the burlap episode, but I think they are running out of creative challenges.

Tonight's episode wasn't bad. I agree with the three top outfits (more or less). Didn't agree with the winner. (I liked the belted outfit.)

I thought the jacket top and shorts was ludicrous. Thought Mila's outfit was awful. Can't remember the loser. I guess it just wasn't memorable.

I wouldn't object if the producers picked up some of the interesting challenges from other seasons. Is that against the rules somehow?

@Roberta,
I thought the show was pretty good even though I thought the winning look was kind of cheesy. Heidi liked it, so I guess that's all that matters. None of the outfits stood out really. The flesh colored ones...what's up with that? What were those designers thinking?

Mila is becoming the one we love to hate. And Anthony is the funny gay guy. A little formulaic, no?
