Hey, kid. Good to see you're home and posting again.

Sighing big sighs. Hoping not to hyperventilate.

Smiling too.

Me neither. On the other hand, if she yells at Dys, she can't be all bad.

Wow! I rang at the stroke of midnight. First minute in the morning. Off to bed now where Bernie is once again talking in his sleep. Funny.

Would someone please time dadpad to get that vegemite away from me, ugh! I know you were only trying to help, but that would have the effect of doing me in for good.

Walking around as much as possible, then almost collapse in bed. Still, that old enegrgy is trying to make it to the front of the line.

Wish I were with it enough to write something witty, but it all seemed to fly away at the hospital

Diane says " goodnight with love, and as usual, I have to inlcude Gracie.

IMO it would be better if you do your walking in small spurts. Walk around a little, and then lie down for awhile. Remember, you have been flat on your butt for quite some time. Even if there had not been anything wrong with you, if you hadn't had an operation, you would still be weakened from staying in bed for so long.

Lady, it is soooo good to see your avatar again! Very Happy

Diane, Your post was at almost 5 in the morning. Granted there's Greenwich time, but I think that's kinda late for you to be up gallivanting.

The advice you're getting here is good. I'm gonna add some. Not only have you been sick, cut open, and lying on your back for a long time, but you were under anesthesia for several hours. This takes a tremendous toll on your head, your reason, and your ability to think clearly. It may also have an effect on your sleep patterns.

What it berls down to, mi amiga, is TAKE IT EASY. Sleep alot. Don't try too much. Eat sensibly. Sleep some more. Give yourself a break.

In other words, be a lump. And enjoy it.

You'll be back flitting in no time, Diane. I had no idea that you could sing, honey. "hum" a few bars of "Wind Beneath my Wings".

I am glad you are back home, Diane. Osso, BBB, (and even dys) did an outstanding job on keeping us all informed.

Diane, I would suggest that you sit in a comfortable chair more than you lie on a bed. You've had enough lying down for a lifetime. Walking and sitting should take up most of your day--with a couple of short naps (with Dys) perhaps.
But what do I know?

If you had been partially envicerated by a sabre-toothed tiger with sterile claws, you couldn't expect yourself to bounce back immediately.

The surgeon's abdominal invasion was a little less traumatic than the tiger's attack would have been--after all, the surgeon didn't have to chase you across the California countryside. All the same, you need healing time.

Nap everytime Sally Dog does.

Well, that sounds about right. The surgeon's attack had the virtues of being sterile and SYSTEMATIC, but it was an "attack" nevertheless.
