I hope her pain can be managed, so that she doesn't suffer overmuch in that way.

Why do you insist on doing all these interesting things while I'm asleep. A bean burrito and avocado you say...
In certain Asian nations bile fluid (i think they use sun bears) is considered an aphrodisiac. Leave the drain open and you could make a quid or two.
Ok I dont really think that (Its all quite horrible really). Black humour to lighten the mood.
Crossing my thumbs for luck.

You should be fine so long as you're not downwind of him.
Dys, hope you're resting....... I hope they're keeping her sedated because of the pain - sounds terrible!
no, they're keeping her sedated to keep Dys quiet!
Glad that's over!
.......positive thoughts!
Thank you so much, Dys & Osso, for explaining it all so thoroughly. I know you must be tired. I hope you both get some well-deserved rest tonight.
Extra sedation for Diane? Good! It will help her get through her first night post-op. That's always the toughest part.
I'll be anxious to hear what the doctors say tomorrow. And what Diane says, too. (Assuming it's printable!)
Sigh of relief. Glad things went well.
Thanks for the reports.
Let's all get some rest.
Glad to read that things are going in the right direction.
Excellent reporting - thank you Dys and osso.
Still ooooommming for a speedy recovery for Diane.
Good to hear that Diane made it through the operation. They probably
keep her sedated so she's not moving around or caughing (from the
tube they put down her throat).
Get some rest dys, you must be exhausted as well. Osso too!!
Phew! Am I glad to hear that it's finally over. (Bet Diane is, too!)
Get well soon, Diane!
Thanks osso & dys.
No matter how deft the surgeon was with his efforts to remove the gall stones, Diane must have considerable inner bruising. I'm sure the surgeon stopped short of applying irresitable force to the immovable object, but even so...
I hope today the pain is under control and the toast and jello are served by cheerful people and taste absolutely delicious.
Oooooommmmmmm.
That one looks a little loose to me Noddy.
Nothing worse than a loose bile duct, I always say.
Late night ohmmming.
Just got caught up from Thursday -- what a roller coaster! Glad to hear things have finally progressed to the rest and recovery stage. Sending special thoughts to both D's.
