She should be checked in at the hospital by now. What a relief!

Love & hugs to both Dys & Diane...(even if she won't remember it.)

Been getting a blue screen all day. Has anyone heard how Diane is doing?

I'm hoping we hear something soon--but I'm also hoping that Dys and Diane are supporting each other in the hospital and that Dys is getting some rest and some nourishment during the early hours of the post op experience.

Ooooooommmmmmm.

surgery is finished, Diane is doing well but they could not get the stones out so they did an alternative procedure ( I will let Osso explain) recovery will take a little longer but prognosis is excellent. She will remain in hosp a little longer than originally expected (end of the week probably) She is still in the recovery room and has not been assigned a bed where I can visit (perhaps this evening)

Oh dys- I am so happy for both of you. The worst is over. Whew! (Wiping my sweaty brow)

How are YOU doing, fella? Are you taking your blood pressure meds? (Don't mean to be a nag, but I guess it's in the genes! Laughing )

I'm glad to read about the good long-term prognosis.

Sleep a bit if you can.

I may even consider brewing some stronger tea - just to keep you company.

Whew!

Thanks so much for the update.

Glad that this has been resolved and there's just healing left!

I hope you got some more nutritional advice, too...? Seems like there's time for that, though.

Anyway, whew!

A word to the wise, the surgeon told me that Lady Diane has had these stones for so many many years, self-treating with various over-the-counter concoctions while the stones just got larger and larger rendering normal procedures impossible. we all need to pay attention to what our bodies tell us. (well, I don't but that's another story)
