Bigdice--

Sunday? You'd better get cracking. Bachelor Hall is no place for a post-op patient.

Tell me about it! I vacuumed yesterday, the few dishes will be taken care of today. It ain't that bad, since I was more in the hospital than at home.

Gonna go visit my girl today, with some of her colleagues, that'll be fun, they're a really nice couple. We go out for dinner now a nd then, great time, the guys talk 'puters, the girls talk job.

I just got home after a good night out,I see that pic, and think"if I didn't have a2k-friends, I'd have to make'em up"... or just wake up half-drunk with no memory... OK, I did spend a lot of money on bubbly! It's so good...

Honey, I can explain it all!
I promise...

still drunk...........

Hey bigdice, this is not your bachelor night. You should have cleaned
the house, bought some pretty flowers, baked a cake and prepared
everything for the arrival of your honey tomorrow.

Instead you're going to have a hangover!

Hello all! I am back home!

Dishes were not all done, the cats' water bowls were almost empty and BigDice was taking a shower. What a welcome... Rolling Eyes Men...

And yes, he was slightly hungover and slept almost all afternoon during his break. Now he is back at work. But he did go to the bakery and bought some nice rolls and a croissant since they did not feed me anymore at the hospital this morning. And this afternoon he brought pasta from the restaurant. So I am well taken care of for tonight.

Swimpy, you are absolutely right. I already feel that I should do the dishes, get the laundry going... But no, I just wanted to check in and go back to the sofa soon.

Thank you all for your thoughts. It was wonderful to read all your posts and know that you are all thinking of me. I can't describe it...

I feel quite good now, tired and I get small pains like the cramps I used to have during my period but not at all that bad. It tells me that I moved around too much. Very hard for me to take. I was never in a position like this.

The hospital was good. They took very good care of me, the nurses were very nice. And because I have additional insurance I got treated by the head gynocologist and had a room for myself with first class treatment. So all in all, the experience was positive - this being my very first hospital stay. I was even born at home...

That's it for today! I'll look around a bit here to see what happened and then I'll stop moving. I promise!

Ah there she is. Welcome home, urs!

Yes please, go back to bed and do not look around - everything can
wait, especially the cleaning and laundry. Sit back, read a book and just
relax. Even though you have no visible scars, the inner wounds take
a long time to heal, and you can't move around too much, so stop it!!

I'm glad, you're feeling better though, and that everything went well
and you had the best care there is.

Marsch ins Bett!!

Yes, welcome back, urs!

However, I never would say "marsch ins Bett", though.
Have your Italian meal and then husch, husch ins Körbchen!

Rest, urs. I gave in to the urge to clean when I returned home after my surgeyr. My reward was a ruptured suture and a trip back to the hospital.

Bigdice, come over here. We need to have a talk.

Uh oh, I think BD is in trouble!

Welcome home, urs. I'm glad the folks at the hospital treated you well and that you're taking it easy.
