woke up with a headache and a crick in the neck. tired all day. but otherwise good. my job for today was only to establish a facebook profile for the workshop... not bad, not bad at all.
And this evenings lecture went well. THe 4 leaders on the panel still had lots to say.
Dasha, what was all the eye-rolling about up there?
eye-rolling? That was Fatima rolling her eyes at what Mark had to say...that's quite common with them.
So...the events went great, the one in New York especially. Our Cambodian colleague was a star.
Yet I have a heavy heart. The boss is the problem. His taking on too many things results in many bad things - his sleeping (which is costing us business, as I know for a fact from our partners in Europe) and his treating us in an abusive way, which may cost us our office manager - the best thing that ever happened to our office. J. has been with us only 3 months and is the one who has to deal with him the most. Despite the short time she's been here, she made all the difference for me - I look forward to going to work, when she's there. She's fun, organized, witty... simply awesome. If she goes, my heart will just sink...dunno if I can take it. So a lot is at stake, many unpleasant conversations ahead. She is writing a manifesto to him as we speak and all will be at the table next week. Sigh.
Dag--
Hell is other people.
Meanwhile, what about your sanity?
my sanity? that will leave with her if she does decide to quit.
