Saturday afternoon seems ok too...
I suppose, it's not thaaat cheap when being called from the USA
Althought it's only a couple of cents for a call from here, it's the time difference which makes it nearly impossible to call during the week.
Thanks for the update Osso. Glad Roger is getting barkingly better
Yeah, all that barking and bustle sounds encouraging.
Roger is definately sounding better, though, of course, he would like ít to happen faster. (He said today, the only position he doesn't feel any pain still is laying in bed on the back.)
Riding on the bike again won't be before 8 weeks from now ...
Reading all these threaded messages I can't help from saying what a nice bunch of poopieheads you all are.
Joe(Here's to "eight weeks to back on the bike"... .)Nation
Roger can't make the 4th of July parade, but he can do a few laps for Bastille Day.

He might decide to change over to an Excercise Bike!
At first his fractures must heal better.
I'm heading out for a ride here in a few minutes... i've been extra aware since rogers accident...
Just remember, barking dogs don't bite, but they may be retrained to ride a bike.

That's good to hear. (Somehow I managed to miss this whole thread, and only learned about Roger's injury when Squinney and Bear talked about him a couple of days ago.)
Best wishes for his continued recovery.
Roger is going home, ready or not, on Thursday, helped by a lady at work (N) to get there. He says various people are scheduled to help - nurse, physical therapist, but he still is very wary of the obvious, stuff like getting into the chair, lying down on the bed when no one is around.
One can't just plonk...
Hurrah! And, Be Careful Roger!
Not to batter him with calls, but...
Osso, what year is the quote in your sig line from?
Wait, I'll have to find the book of short stories...
ok, copyright 1995, first scribner paperback fiction edition, 1996; title, 'blue spruce', author, david long.
To Roger - he was sharp tonight, good conversation. Still, he is mostly alone facing giant steps, like back in hopscotch.
