CL--

You've got a lot on your plate right now. Talking to a counselor might be a good idea. It would certainly be a better idea than smoking.

Appointment at 1:30? Your support group has already started Thinking Positively. After all, you've earned that apartment.

Hold your dominion.

1:30 sounds like a fine time for an appointment.

I am just having a hard time to find a reason not to smoke now

you don't want your fabulous new apartment to stink

you don't want to bring stinky clothes into your fabulous new apartment

you're damn proud that you were able to quit smoking - every additional day is another day to be damn proud of

non-smokers are MUCH nicer to kiss

~~~~~~~~
1:30 it is for the power of positive thinking
Guaranteed to wipe out those cravings, and unlikely to be habit forming, since it tastes just gross. Cheaper than nicotine gum by far.
If you are able to stay away from cigarettes, you'll lead a much healthier life. Best of luck with the apartment.
Are there other things not going well, issy?
I am just having a hard time getting back in the swing of things, one of the girls I work with is pregnant and due in June, she was giving me all sorts of tips and now she kind of ignores me, I feel such tension around her, she never said a word to me, which is her choice.
My stress level has risen way above my head and I am thinking about talking to a therapist now because I get so sad so much now and it is hard for me to focus. I am not scared to talk to someone now and I think I would benefit from it very much given the situation.
My insurance company keeps sending me hospital bills and it is making me really mad.
Both of my grandparents keep getting sick (I was raised by them)
I just requested a vacation for my dads wedding and he called me today to tell me he needs to change the date.
I don't know, I think it is because I am so negative now that I am blind to the postive.
I am not trying to complain, I still love life and I know that somewhere out there somebody has it so much worse than me, but right now I feel I have a right to feel somewhat bad.
I dunno Confused
Holy sh!t! And you're wondering why you're craving a cigarette? The craving is just that. It's past comfort telling you that you are uber stressed. Don't give in to it. If you're finally (FINALLY!) ready to talk to a counselor then, by all means, go for it.... on Wednesday. First, on Tuesday, we're holding vigil for your new appt.
Ommmmmm
CrazieLady, I am sorry to hear about the baby. I quit smoking in a very stressful point of my life. And my stress then pales in comparison to your stress now. But, I know you can do it. I know you can.
I seriously doubt CL is going to become a regular dipper. That stuff is nasty, and it has nicotine. Those two things can help you quit smoking even faster.
Oh and besides that, it's vile and nasty.
And stinks.
It's worse to seem someone chewing than smoking in my opinion. Gross.
I dunno, I never had any issue quitting "that stuff". It was just a nicotine delivery system with no pleasure whatsoever. Blech.
CL--
You were at the forefront of my mind while I made macaroni salad--and cleaned up afterwards.
How did the interview go.
