835a. I think people are disturbed by my anti Democrat stance more because it could be the tip of an iceberg, rather than the pathetic intransigence of a single person. As I wrote yesterday, The votes are up for grabs. None of them are specifically Democrat or Republican or third party property until they have been earned. Quoting Mr Natural, You own nothing. None of it belongs to you.
836a. I should know today if my ebook uploads are successful.
837a. I could have already filed my income taxes, but I don't have much stomach for it, since I determined that my SS checks will be taxed again this year. A lady that works where I work tells me that after my 70TH birthday, this will cease. I hope she is correct. I have not bothered yet to look it up.
838a. Got to paint stripes on the parking lot next week. Not a tough job, but lots of walking.
839a. Fridays roll around so quickly, these days. Seems the week barely starts and then it's off for the weekend.
840a. Two buildings more, and the siding project will be finished. I have to admit, all that freshly painted siding looks good. I love the smell of Hardy Plank in the morning.
841a. My computer is so much under the control of Google, I want to change that. It's just, I use gmail and their book marks and tool bar are so convenient to use. I am experimenting with a Yahoo tool bar, but I hate it so far. Also went to Yahoo home page use. My Yahoo mail has been pretty much unused for years, but I still have it. And, my blogs are Google products.
842a. I will be painting buildings off a ladder today. Gonna eat buckwheat pancakes, with raw honey, butter and sorghum molasses, for breakfast.
@edgarblythe,
841a: I use CHROME, and it lets me access my Firefox bookmarks.
843a. By golly, my ebook project still was wrong. But, I am very close if not there with the latest revision.
844a. Got one week to get the property just so, for an owner's visit. I tink we nail it dees time.
845a. Herman Cain endorses Romney. Edgar drops butter pat on floor and is presented with a cleanup task. Which statement is more important? If you said 'the latter,' you get a star on your forrid. To apply star, take a permanent marker, stand before mirror and press the tip to your skin. Move marker in star shape. Don't forget to cap the marker when finished.
846a. Reading over some of my older short stories, I find flaws where before I saw perfection. Cleaning up the better ones for posterity. Well, for my own satisfaction, then.
847a. Spring just might be here. Certain plants are leafing. The temps are more and more in the seventies. I need to cut the sprigging yard. Not to say we are finished with cold fronts, but some plants that lose their leaves for winter, never did lose all of theirs this year.
848a. The tendency at work would be to continue painting the siding, this morning. But, of the five days ahead, just today is guaranteed to be completely dry. That is more important to our striping activity than wall painting. So, I plan to stripe the parking lot. The siding can wait until tomorrow.
849a. The Americans Elect people are wasting way too much time getting a name and platform out there. Increasing skepticism that they can be a factor this year.
850a. To quote Marlon Brando: "Mmmphmmgmmlgmn."
851a. Considering the Big Bang theory - I have to accept the evidence that is presented and leave any unproven points to speculation. Not knowing every detail does not disturb me. I am more grateful that people can know as much as they do. That is an amazing accomplishment for a race of beings so recently evolved and self aware.
852a. I listen to less music, these days. My favorite artists were my life, for many years. Lately, I have known a tendency to let go.
853a. Hoping the rain holds off until I get that lot striped, today.
854a. My last ebook revision was also rejected. Unless I discover some way to deal with it, I surrender.
855a. Still awaiting dry weather so I can paint.
856a. Angelo Dundee seemed like a nice guy. Never saw anything negative by or about him.
857a. I may work longer today. Got a project to complete.
858a. Remember the good old days? When you did not have to be crazy to run for president?
859a. My arm has returned to normal. I fell when I took a step back on Monday, I think it was, and broke my fall by extending it behind me. It is good to have all four limbs functioning at the same time.
860a. Checking, I discovered that one of my ebooks succeeded. So, I resubmitted the other one. I must be smarter than I thought.
861a. This winter has erased most of the drought. It cannot resurrect millions of trees, nor can it ensure we will return to normal summer, but, I can enjoy the respite.
862a. There were three squirrels in my back yard, yesterday. So long as they don't invade the house, I will let them be. But, I did make the decision to feed no more wildlife back there.
863a. It is common to put all the blame for the poor economy on Bush and secondarily Obama. Clinton ought to get seriously dragged in also, but that's for another thread.
@edgarblythe,
you cpuld make a good living splitting and selling firewood to the yankees. We pay up to 180 a cord for wood logs split and seasoned.
@farmerman,
I don't think my pines would make the best firewood. That's all I have.
@edgarblythe,
860a: CONGRATS! What's the name of your book?
@cicerone imposter,
They are called ebooks, but the ones I am working on these days are short stories. I don't think I ought to be selling on the forum, so I won't say more about them.
@edgarblythe,
I think you could prolly put a link in your profile, ed.
I don't believe the Hamsters and their gerbils would run you for that...
@Rockhead,
Yeah, but I have said too much about it already.
@edgarblythe,
I think you are much too modest.
cheerio.
