501a. I think the grab bar installation went well. The patient is mentally sound and has a shot at walking again. It was an involved process for me, yesterday. It turned out, I had to fix up the door opening and move other fixtures, such as towel bar, toilet paper holder and so forth. One bar went on the wall outside the tub, the second on the tile wall over the tub's back and the third next to the commode, on the end of a cabinet. My upper arms ached when I finished the day and tried to relax. We ate Subway food and I told him to call me if he needed anything else. He began making a list, "Mow the grass every week," and so forth. We had a laugh and I went home.
502a. I think the Texas Rangers ball team deserves a lot of credit.
503a. I think Obama ought to consider ways to get many if not most of our troops home.
504a. I think Americans Elect, 2012, is to be the focus of my political thought this time around.
505a. I think the monument to Martin Luther King, Jr., is a right step. He is, in my estimation an add-on founding father to the nation.

506a. I think the race driver killed yesterday was the worst such thing I have ever seen. I tuned in the race right when they began a rerun of the accident and then stayed with it as they drove in formation of threes the last five laps, to honor the poor man.
507a. I think this was a very unproductive weekend for me. Only managed to write half a page. Felt worn down after working on my bro in law's house. But I always experience a let-down when the hot season is ending and fall finally begins to kick in. Usually lasts a few weeks. I think it is in part due to the new energy I feel, for I expend even more of it than is normal.
508a. I think I finally begin to appreciate Hemingway. Not a hundred percent. I still hate the way he died.
509a. I think It makes me happy to see endymion posting again.
510a. I think we wasted ten dollars. We bought Punky the dog another squeaky chicken, similar to the one she still owns. The new one, she took on the porch and systematically tore it to bits, all within the first hour of receiving it.

511a. I think today will be reversed, routine-wise. Be at home in the AM, but on the job in PM. Got some kind of school to attend.
512a. I think Beck was quoted as calling the occupy wall street people a Marxist movement - loudly proclaimed by a facebook friend. Sad
513a. I think I would like to quote a poem of mine:

Mauve Her Eye

Mauve her eye,
In the silver silicon morn.
Dons her bra,
One cup at a time; cosmos torn.

514a. I think the cold front has arrived. We had brief rain. Now the wind is kicking up. Tonight should reach the forties.
515a. I think CI and Hemingway's ghost ought to be trading tales and smoking together, these days.

@edgarblythe,
We visited the Bay of Pigs one day, and visited their very good museum. Will write about it in my blog when I return home. Now in Mexico City getting ready to catch our cab to the airport.

516a. I think the day was reasonably good. At the class, I earned $1.25 for knowing before the others that the ends of a headset are separated by a head. This was most fortuitous, for I had no money when I left the house. At a freeway intersection, a man was holding a sign, pleading: I need just 88 cents. So I handed him my winnings. I would like to know what he wanted that precise amount for, but we had no time to converse, as I was already rolling when he took the money.
517a. I think the people who are remodelling the mobile home across the street are going to be disheartened when they get the news. Today's high wind peeled off the roof.

518a. I think the impending cold weather will be as bad for me as the excessive heat of the past summer. I prefer perfect temperatures. 72 degrees is nice.
519a. I think I ought to suspend feeding the birds for the winter. But I don't know when they normally migrate.
520a. I think there will be muggles all about me in the first half of the day.

A crew rolled the roof back on it. They are right now beating dents out of it with a 2x4 board.

521a. I think we were so uncoordinated at work yesterday - This day has got to be better.
522a. I think a constitutional amendment to limit money spent on political campaigns is a fine idea.
523a. I think my coffee ran out entirely too fast.
524a. I think the prediction I heard from TV yesterday, that coffee may be extinct in 20 years, means rising prices from now on.
525a. I think my first great granddaughter has been determined to be a girl. Did not catch due date.

526a. I think today is supposed to be the end of the world. I still have not seen Paris.
527a. I think the Bluevolt web site is great. Free training courses in electric work, A/C, appliance repair, etc.
528a. I think we may get some rain, Thursday, assuming my first thought of the day is incorrect.
529a. I think I will need to go install another grab bar, in my bro in law's house, tomorrow. Should be quick and easy. (He said, optimistically).
530a. I think that if congress kills every semblance of jobs bills, each sitting member up for reelection ought to get voted out.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar, you haven't mentioned Terra Nova in a while. Are you watching?

@Roberta,
Yes. It is worth tuning in. I think they are still getting their ducks in a row, re the long term theme of the show. I can tell the man is likely to have problems with his son, who seems ripe to fall off the tree.

This is not going to happen; conservatives don't understand how the GOP is creating a bigger handicap for our government to "help our own people."

531a. I think this day is a wash. Three times to the job already, for A/C and toilet problems. Tired, now.
532a. I think the 28TH amendment will be pushed by me all the way as long as the movement has life. And I still intend to vote for an independent candidate, unless the Democrats have an epiphany and become responsible to the voters.
533a. I think a beer and a good steak are in order for my evening meal. Fat left on, rare. I try to have a rare one once or twice per week.
534a. I think the dead toad I took out of the electric box on a condenser made my new work mate squeamish. She said, when I thrust under it with my screwdriver, "Don't flip it at me." "Won't. I respect dead things," I replied. "Even toads and bugs."
535a. I think the only two TV shows I have really looked forward to, of late, are The Mentalist and Terra Nova. I love comedies, but even the ones I watch have lost their allure. Two and a Half Men, How I met Your Mother, Mike and Molly, Big Bang - None of them are that interesting, these days. Harry's Law was something I tried to watch every week, but their formulas are stale now. The show is really The Practice and two or three other shows continued, using the same scripts, but changing the faces only.

@edgarblythe,
I come over here to help me think, ed. good brain waves on this thread...

I think I will spend the afternoon making a roof patch for my chimney. the roof is corrugated tin, which will present challenges to making it water tight around the stovepipe...

536a. I think I need to get to work soon, so that I can get some rest.
537a. I think fondly of my older brother, when, as a kid, he read The Three Musketeers. After that, he made swords of sticks for us to fight with and he always wanted to be "Dartanagan." When I looked at the name in the book, I knew he pronounced it wrong, but was in the dark what to actually call D'Artagnan.
538a. I think Once Upon a Time (did I get it right?) may be worth a watch this evening. The crew that wrote all those maddening Lost scripts wrote it.
539a. I think I need to get myself a glass of beer and go sit before the Telly.
540a. I think it is a trip to start with the very oldest page of My Posts and to read through the titles, until one strikes your fancy to open it. Quite a few wonderful memories in there.
