My big brother and a half sister. The dog is half cocker spaniel, the first dog I had. Named Boots Teddy bear.

A true pleasure, edgar, to see these.

What is it about old photo's that touches us so deeply? I could weep looking at some of themÂ… the feeling of wistfulness is so strong.

Mom was a picture taker. She and her Brownie Hawkeye made dozens of photos, regularly. Most I can't put on here, but there are still some gems here.

Loking good Edgar! I assume you are the officer in the photo? I already know the story of your brother.

741. I think Google Earth is a fun toy. I have never seen my brother's house before, but I was able to describe the layout from above, a bit of a surprise to him, I'm sure. Also went to the Veteran's National Cemetery, of Houston with it, and was able to show my wife the headstone on her father's grave. Had trouble seeing the Alamo for some reason.

742. I think how Ray Charles still blows me away. Heard him on the radio this evening, singing Georgia on My Mind. It don't ever get better than that. I didn't like his film biography, because it only focused on his misdeeds. Rarely focused on anything positive. I'm sure in his whole lifetime, he had his better moments, too.

743. I think my daughter, Jean, is in for some new tribulation. There is a mass, in her chest, the doctor wants to remove. He says the indication is it's probably not malignant. The procedure he wants to use may deflate a lung. He assured her the lung would then be restored. Not sure of a timetable.

744. I think my brother is a bit better. They sent him home. He said it was his emphasema acting up, more so than the medicine or the chemo treatments.

745. I think somebody ought to pump ethanol up the government's ass.

749. I think I better get my food cooked for next week. It's almost dark, and I have yet to start.

750. I think I've overloaded my computer with Google Earth and a few other programs. Tomorrow I intend to clean it all out.

751. This is, perhaps, the most compelling photo in my collection. It depicts my father and older brother. Their expressions speak volumes, many of which I don't know how to read.

752. Yours truly.

753. I think it an odd experience, that I met online and spoke on the phone, with first cousins for the first time since I was three. We learned that we had nothing in common and no longer communicate.

754. I think Jean will have some news about further tests tonight or tomorrow.

755. I think Reyn better come back and start posting, before I send djjd to kick his ass.

758. I think the producers of Lost have lost it. They are not going to start new episodes in Sept, as is normal scheduling, but will wait until 2008. Talk about cooling audience interest.

759. I think this article by Ralph Ginzburg well worth the reading.

760. I think reyn is toying with us.

762. I think I would like to give a listen to Paul McCartney's new album. Am undecided if I will like it.

763. I think on how disappointed I am to look at an old movie, only to discover that Rex Allen used to sing in Black Face. I would never have believed it, without seeing with my own eyes.

764. I think I don't like the way in which telephone usage is evolving. Soon, we will all have cell phones, want them or not. I feel they are not just overpriced, but I don't want the added features.

765. I think the Supreme Court has been sufficiently packed to ensure our move to the Dark Ages will be a long gloomy road.

I think it's hilarious that John Edwards is vilified for being a hypocrite because he is a rich man who talks about the poor and has started university studies on poverty. Is he worse than the rich politicians who don't care about, and never talk about poverty?

I think it's cool to see those 'flashes from the past' of edgar's life.

I think I'm cool as a cucumber for someone who's getting married in one week.
