Ahh, they don't make cars like they used to. I'd like to own a veteran car from that era one day.

780. I think about women who dress in clothing that is not particularly revealing, but who are so sensitive to a man's glance, they act embarrassed and try to cover up anyway. A woman I know and respect completely often displays just a hint of separation with the necklines she chooses to wear. I want our relationship to be free of sexism and do not dwell on such a thing around her. But, she is so ultra sensitive about this area of her anatomy that her preoccupation with it makes me aware against my will. The other day, she was trying to pull her v-neck up to her chin, and otherwise trying to make it cover her up, which was an impossibility. It makes me nervous and unhappy to witness this. I thought we had cleared the air about such things over a year ago, but, apparently she has forgotten. I just wish she would wear a high neck blouse and spare me the stress.

I think your pa looks a bit like Joseph Cotten in that pic, edgar. They make quite a handsome couple.

782. I think turning 65 may be just too complicated. All the Medicare come-ons I get are in and of themselves just too much hassle. And, this **** of getting too weak to go all day on the current job, being unable to see the head of a screw, etc., is an insult to my manhood.

783. I think the only remedy for Bush is to wait out the rest of his term. Nobody has the guts to make him stand down.

784. I think I will continue to support Hillary for president.

785. I think Al Sharpton may or may not have a rightful place in today's politics, but, ever since the Brawley affair, I have tended to tune him out.

The dude that's pegged to replace me is a marvel of industriousness. As for me, I work well, generally, but tend more and more to be marking time. Logically, I should leave now. Financially, it ain't possible.
