There's a bit of background on the McG/Salon thing...
I had been on folks here for their taste in media sources read and pasted (townhall, newsmax, fox, rush, coulter, etc) which slant deep right. They came back at me (mainly tico) for posting from Salon. There's some merit to their complaint, but less than they surmise. I went back and did a review of my last 50 pastes/links about a year ago and Salon accounted for two (I think it was) of the fifty. Echoes of all this remain, McG's post being an example.
