That's a lie. You had more than 40 posts here before i ever responded to one, and my response was to challenge your horse **** when you claimed that Congress had ceded the war-making power to the President.
Another priceless drama queen moment here.
Hey Set, it's me, Monte Cargo. You know, before you get into the zone of attack/defense (whatever you want to call it), your posts were actually not only tolerable, but reasonable and witty.
Why not kiss off this terminal fight with LoneStar and get back to posting on topic? I've seen a lot of posts by a lot of posters, and partisan considerations aside, you're pretty good when you're not going reptilian and I don't mean that as a slam. You are witty and sometimes very funny, which is a great quality.
Neither LoneStarMadame nor I are the reincarnation of this poster you discuss. Since I have joined this board, I've cultivated a good-natured sparring dialog with Blatham and the board seems more capable of sliding off the personal digs than another board I spend some time on.
By the way, LoneStar is telling the absolute truth about Roxxxanne/ TwinPeaksNikki, and Roxxxanne is a guy AFAIK.
I know that Nancy Pelosi has a lot of baggage she'll need to overcome. The democrats sure gave her a boost by giving her the speaker's chair. I happen to agree that she's had a rough start, first with Murtha and now with Hastings. Not sure if the dems slogan is 6 for '06, which includes hiking the minimum wage, repealing the tax breaks for energy companies, reducing cost of drugs for elders, lowering the cost for education and a couple of other things, but for many of these things, it will take ten republican senators to make them happen.
