All these new graduates with no jobs - have them talk to John Kerry. He'll know what to do.

The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) estimates that in January of 2000 there were 7 million illegal aliens living in the United States, a number that is growing by half a million a year. Thus, the illegal-alien population in 2003 stands at at least 8 million.

Here's an interesting article from the San Jose Merc this morning on Pol Pot:

U.S. RELATIONSHIP: the Khmer Rouge overthrew the US-backed government of Gen. Lon Nol. The US indirectly supported Pol Pot's army by supplying arms to non-communist groups associated with the Khmer Rouge that opposed the vietnamese communists.

Getting back to Kerry, had he been elected this country would have been on the road back to recovery. We would be returned to a country with the rule of law, and corruption in Washington would have been curbed. We would be on the way toward having a decent health-care system, etc.

401K-enron anyone?

When you consider the rising cost of health care and weak wages coupled with low benefits, it is no wonder that middle class people don't really see a good economy. It's hard to spin the reality of every day living with success.

Go stick your head in the sand.

Since when did investing your 401K equate anywhere to Enron?

You must be suggesting working class people are too stupid to understand how to invest in mutual funds in their 401k's. So you must agree with Kerry that working class people must go in the military.

Are you suggesting all those who got duped in Enron out of their live savings were just stupid?

Anyway, my main point was the next line about the rising cost of health coupled with weak pay raises with fewer benefits making a dent on the economy of the middle class. This was a long time in coming (not necessarily the fault of republicans) but it needs addressing. And yea, the new Medicaid program sucks for seniors which further erodes middle class wealth.

How you manage to get to where you do from what you're give to start with often is a mystery.

It's up to you to show how I managed what you claim. Not for me to repeat myself. Stick to the topic, timber. You'll get better results if you tell us why my start and finish opinons are inconsistent. Instead, you talk about me.

Buncha stupidity going on in this thread over the last several posts - and it isn't coming from just one member, its a "Usual Suspects" deal. Idiocy knows no ideology.
