I do pay attention to the elections in our state, and vote every time. I also keep in touch with Senator Feinstein on a regular basis. I can't effect elections outside of our district/state, so your implication is just plain ridiculous! Get a life!

Why am I not surpurised you keep in touch with Sen Feinstein.

Have a nice day. Rolling Eyes

It's a big deal to me.

We have elected sh!theads on both side of the aisle in Congress, who refuse to address issues. Especially from Mass. and Calif.

You attitude gives these knuckleheads the incentive to go on as usual.

Yeah! Dammit, let's talk more about some idiot who isn't even running and the stupid joke he made about Bush! That'll show 'em we care about the issues!!!!

Bush (who, by the way performed better at Yale than did Kerry of Vietnam)

Are you going for some "most bizarro statement of the week" award, Finn?

77 v 76

OK. I misread your odd label "Kerry of Vietnam" as "Kerry in Vietnam" - ie, "Bush performed better at Yale than did Kerry in Vietnam" - which struck me as a rather bizarre statement (like, I dunno, "young Steve was a better man at chess than Dave was in Iraq").

Gordon of Khartoum
Napier of Magdala
Montgomery of Alamein
Kerry of Vietnam

and bush of texas. or was it alabama ? georgia, maybe?

where was dubya while kerry was "of vietnam", anyway ??? Laughing

i could be wrong, but i seem to remember seeing on a2k that c.i. is a veteran, cj. i may be thinking of someone else. there are several on the forum.

and they are generally much more civil about all of this stuff than some others...

cjh, That's because you fail to understand what really happened; it was a blooper that Kerry will pay for dearly in the future. Why would the troops come to see me? I've served our country in the armed forces, and speak against Bush's unjustified war in Iraq that have sacriiced our soldiers lives for a goal that's been lost with no solution in sight.

oooops. shoulda read farther down the page...

<grins, nods>

Yeah, I cant believe Woiyo didnt get the irony in his own post there. We want Congressmen who address the issues! Like - a Senator who isnt even up for election making a botched joke that could be possibly be taken, but wasnt intended, as an insult. That's, like, one of those real issues the country desperately needs to see tackled! Yeah.... right.

considering all the hoopla Rush caused, I doubt "the issues" are really a concern on A2K, especially amogst the libs.

You're not concerned about issues when you are on the winning side of all of them in public polling.

When Dems are beating Republicans on Terrorism and Iraq, Republicans are in serious trouble.
