I can't, gotta work tomorrow, but next weekend could be my drunk.

My weekend starts at 3am Fri morning, so I even get a head start, plus I can drink for 2 days if I feel like it ;-)

Gotta love those 3 day weekends :-D

Now, if I was a big drinker, it would be awesome.

Wow, I was really drunk. The problem was that drink I had at the soccer/rugby bar. You see, I forgot to say "rocks" when I ordered my Stolie Martini, and because of that, I got a big long-stemmed girlie-lookin' drink. Every single other person in the bar was drinking Guinness. I felt like an ass standing there with my little girlie drink, so I gulped it down as fast as I could. It took a lot of gulps. I'd say that drink had the equivalent of three to four shots in it.

It was like someone dropped a drunk bomb on me. I was smashed out of my mind within minutes of leaving that bar, and by the time I got home...well, I don't even really remember starting this thread, if that's any indication. I don't think I went to a strip joint, but I know I saw a band. I remember snapshot images of it.

I also have about twenty minutes of messages on my answering machine, from me, to me, rambling on and on about every stupid thought that happened to come to me, I guess. It is filled with swearing and yelling, pining for old girlfriends, and a lot of stuff that is just totally incoherent. I hope I didn't call anyone else that night.

I didn't throw up though. Sweet.

Good to be back. Friday was insane, but last night was even better because I can actually remember it.

I went to Hogs N Heifers, the greatest dive bar of all time. Girls getting up on the bar shaking their na-nas, some of them even whipping off their tops to show off their na-nas, the head bartender swearing and yelling and berating everyone in the bar with a megaphone, strong cheap drinks, shots, a fight or two...god bless america.

Here's a pic. See the collection of bras hanging on the wall behind them? You can only see part of it here, but that bra collection is like a mountain growing out of the wall. It's actually one of the seven wonders of the world. Number four, I think.

No, I had stopped at another bar before the martini and had a couple beers before that. Then I had two more beers while I was writing all this crap on this thread. And okay, I admit, it wasn't a total blackout. I do sort of remember doing this thread. But after that, except for some very blurry images, I can't remember any of it. Try this experiment though, if you don't think one drink can do that much damage. Just take a bottle of vodka and chug from it for about ten seconds straight. Let us know how it goes.

Slappy, seriously that is a great bar. Go there the next time you're in town. I guarantee you will love it.

Meanwhile, I've been inspired by this thread. I'm going to do a short story about a guy who goes to a strip joint, falls in love with one of the strippers, and runs off with her.

I'm going to call it, "Love At First Sha Boom."
