Did anyone see the special on Spencer Tunick on HBO last night, "Naked World"?

He photographed nudes on all seven continents--yes, even Antartica.

Here'sthe link to the project, as well as the schedule for airing.

As compelling as the art itself was the stories of the subjects, who described the experience as liberating.

Yes. I alreday have posed nude.

I would never consider posing nude for a photo after the experience I had when I was younger. While attending college in the Southwest I was a little hard up for money and the plasma gig was getting a little old so when I saw an opportunity to earn a few extra bucks by posing nude for some local artist I jumped at the chance.

I figured it was just some guy practicing his craft and, what the hell, I could stand in the nude for a bit. The whole affair lasted about 4 hours and I made somewhere around thirty bucks, which wasn't bad at the time.

But here's the kicker: The guy made a friggin' statue out of me. And he put it right on campus! Boy, was I pissed.





I'm just trying to warn you people. Be very wary when posing in the nude -- you may end up as a statue.

Hello all,

I find life modeling exciting and a liberating experience. I've been modeling for artistic nudes for about 5 years. I prefer drawing to photography, in that holding a pose is more challenging. I also like to see the artwork progress.
