These grand fall days where I am bent
I am so stretched out and insoucient
Eating and sleeping, ignoring the weather
So limp I can't put a rhyme together.

intense

(theo, welcome back.)

Intense is the song of the wind.
Like birches that flex and rescend
Their promise of never to break,
Bare branches with nothing to rake.

Quote:
Shoes whose tongues will never speak,
Well worn leather, strong but meek.
Finding you in closet corner,
I remain a silent mourner.

I SO think about you Letty--
Thanks for the greeting

My tender hopes have been eroded
Wasting like a mount exploded
Sending streams of useless foam
While mongst the barren stretch, I roam.

Blessing

hello blessing in the form of tiny cries
waving little arms two big shiny eyes
when its time to feed you my darling
its so mutually rewarding
when its time to change you my darling
i guess i should really be departing

spoon
My grandparents used to spoon
on a warm night under an August moon
when he asked her to be his wife
and be together for rest of his life.

Carneval, called the 5th season in Europe,
let's us laugh, sing and dance with new hope
that the upcoming lent will be short and acquiescent.
Life is delight and laughter - that's how it is meant.

Utterly delighted and second sighted,
To prove that we miss our dear friends.
This abstinence
Follows our sense of requited
And somehow we must make amends.

I guess you want me seeking atonement
For my real long time 'a gone ment'
Along with family, I've a part
Up to my neck in crafts and art!!

[Hellll----oooo dear Calamity Jane. and Hi Edgar and BBB
I hope all of you have been having a good year.
I am in the midst of designing my new 'digs'.]

we all fell silent
the sound of our forks scraping plates overcoming the conversation
the food was plentiful
so was the tension

our peripitatic lives
sometimes feel static
like humble bee lives
other times erratic

Cargo
Tan Cargo pants may be all the rage
worn by a woman of the working class
because it's price is within her wage
they cover her legs as well as her ass.

Making its way to the sky The Floribunda grows
Not to be trampled setting in its roots
asking why from a trampled path comes a pretty rose
The trek is over for it's under my boots
Oh well, I cannot see what's under my nose

(hope seed is all right)

Supreme is how we try to feel
When in reality we seal
Our sense of insecurity,
The sullen white of
Purity that is no more.

Hyperbole Men should
Develop well honed senses
Of self-mockery.

Forecast, gloom.

A Question....

Where are they now,
These erstwhile friends
Who tell us how our story ends.

Where do they go when there
Is pain
And hardened rain.

Somewhere nursing wounded pride
Extracting vengeance once denied
For pleasures and poppies.

Dulcet, dainty damsels
Dangle dulcimers.

Dulcimers should be horizontal
To avoid discord.

eggplant
do chickens come from eggplants
and do they still dare to cross the road?
do they wear long red plaid pants
with eggs in pockets big enough to hold?
