fecundate
To fecundate takes a special skill
to populate the whole world, you see
to pollinate flora and fauna will
be the lifelong task of the honey bee.

Cinnamon and sepia are not black and white,
But hues that hold the breath of twilight
In a shadowed hand.

The harbinger that sings of the world
In half light; not really day, and not really night
On the planet.

Presage
Letty, Letty, who can tell
her presage is on target,
will her tomorrow go as well
she won't tell and I forget it.

United is a state of mind
In tandem.

Often we choose one
Or two at random.

Place value can be zero
In abandon.

Combination
My combination lock revolted
Hated the Fall rain and cold
Now my gate must remain bolted
To keep my dogs safe, I'm told

put a red nose on the front of my face
long yellow shoes over my feet
three rings for the crowds to savor
grinning the children yell how neat

clowns clowns i love the clowns
all those bozos and emmet kelleys
smiles with the ups and many downs
skinney ones ones with fat bellies

run around in a circle
jump up and fall down
if youre able to do it
yes youre a clown

HATS...

standing tall
holding up my head high
gleaming with great joys...
joys of the forgotten sorrows
singing melodious incantations
smelling the beautiful fragnance of those roses

...aah just the thought of these moments
precious moment
when i had my hats on
make me smile...
aaah the memory when i had my hats on...

Traditions are the mold
Of hair that splices
As the genes we bear
In heraldry.

If that was done
Then we should do.
We want to keep the
Blood that's blue
So terribly.

the ghost of halloween stalks the land
this night so dark and oh forboding
don't let the kiddies out tonight at all
lest his pumpkin face come floating
he likes to nip their heels when they run
their address you will find him noting
for he will slip inside the room
and spirit them away laughing oh so gloating

Carbuncle is something I don't know!

I looked it up and have a view

It's fester or a precious stone

Now I know what was unknown!

(well, there's our navigator. Hey, honey)

The clue that is you
Is noted in your eye.
Always looking upward
Meeting with the sky.

The same ephemeral space
That looks on everyone,
Only makes us note
Clear vision of the sun.

Beam
It's a little scary
to know for a fact
what holds up my roof
are a few wooden beams.
How they do it
is a mystery to me.
Just glad they do the job
without fail, it seems.

Candor
To tell the truth
can be quite risky
yet in one's youth
can remain frisky.

Little white lies
can keep a friend
about a hip size
a fib you can depend.

honeysuckle rose sang fats waller
sounding cool under the collar

wave upon smooth wave as heaven only knows

Iron and steel and deadly maiden,
Forged in blood and heavy laden
With the tracks of rusting sorrow
Laced with words of no tomorrow.
