Well, I just checked and there's a good chance I'll have all four of these games going on now Wrong. And there's two more on their way to throw off my swift but astute analyses..

What, indeed. The late games are over and we are a sorry lot. At 8-6 are JPB, Fbaezer, and (yea) Ms Cowdoc. It goes down hill from there.

Good, I'd noticed that FB and Mrs. CowDoc were doing well.

FB is very much better here than I am in world or mexican football, and sometimes aces here. Give him a few more hours and he'll climb in stats. And Pantalones is no slouch. Remember, I predicted he'd win...
and I meant the contest as a whole. Sly fellow, he is.

Well, okay, I broke even, 50/50. It would seem one could do better than that after all these weeks. Indeed, some have..

We were in New Orleans this past weekend. The game was in Dallas, but the mania was everywhere. We caught the game at Port 'O Call (thanks for the suggestion, Sublime). New Orleanians are VERY pumped about the Saints this year.

I'm not much of a Bear's fan, so if the NFC championship game comes down to Chicago vs NO, I might have to cheer for the Saints.

I believe I was at the Port O' Call. Was that down by the museum, J_B?

Which museum? It's on Esplanade which is the dividing line between the French Quarter and the Marigny neighborhoods.

I'm thinking of the one down at the end of Canal Street, much of it outside, nice large plaza, view of the water.

If you mean the NO Museum of Art, it's not within walking distance, but NOMA is in City Park which is at the far end of Esplanade.

No, I had the wrong place, JB. I was just looking at a map. But I did find the place you were talking about and, yes, I was there. As a matter of fact I was there three nights at least.

Nice place.

That is the one that is rather small and a bit of a wrap around to it?

You enter into a bar, then in the back there are booths with some very tiny bathrooms in between?

I've been looking for the pizza place between there and the river that I spent a few drunken evenings at, but haven't been able to find it.

I'll keep looking. It seems to me that is was down by a flea market area. I remember staggering through an open courtyard where merchants were breaking down their stands for the day.
