It's hard to believe, pan, that the new NFL season is a mere 6 weeks away. The A2K NFL Football Pool will indeed be returning for its 3rd year. We look forward to seeing some of the veterans back plus, perhaps, a bunch of new folks.
Knowledge of football is not required. I am the case in point for that. But please remember that, if you happen to be a quarterback with a multi-million dollar contract, wear your helmet when you ride a motorcycle.

I'll be a new folk. I'm going to have to do some sports page reading. Last team I was all gaga over was the 49'ers. Schniff.

This by way of a bookmark.

Ok, question, who are the new Dave Meggetts, the Walter Paytons, the Bo Jacksons, the Marcus Allens, the Joe Montanas, the Jerry Rices?

This, folks, is really scary. Johnboy and Panzade are teaming up this season to run this sucker. Johnboy will do the stats; Pan will offer his expert commentary. We will nag slackers when we need to, and Pan is a pretty big dude.

I can guarantee one thing: The Green Bay Packers will be out of the mix by mid season.

Or, if mathematically possible, the third game.

Thanks for the invite, johnboy. Count me in! I have to spend a fair amount of time on the road, but I bet I can find a way to participate.

This will be a fun way to follow the Patriots as they go all the way to the
Super Bowl Championship!

Hey Panz & RJB, why not use the "report" button to request that this topic

This thread seems sorely in need of some balance from a Packer Backer...

Lookin' forward to what A.J. Hawk is going to get done in his rookie year.

I'm in. BC (Before Chicago) I was an avid football fan. I haven't paid much attention the last 10 years but will give it a shot.

A little boy was at his own custody hearing. When asked if he'd like to live with his father, he said "No, he beats me for no reason." Then he was asked if he wanted to live with his mother - "Nope, she smacks me around and yells at me all the time." The judge suggested that perhaps he could live with his aunt and uncle. "No sir, they both beat me too."

After some deliberation, the judge placed the boy in custody of the Detroit Lions. who as far as could be determined, are incapable of beating anyone.
