Hmm. Cjhsa, as the 3rd picker this week, gets to occupy one of the luxury columns on my spreadsheet. A full 1/2" wide. After we get to about 10 players, they get stuffed in 1/4" columns.
So I was recording his picks and noticed that we were agreeing. Oh, No. Johnboy and Cjhsa? We ended up differing on two games at the end.
Your comment about SF and Chicago being a toss up will perhaps bring a response from Sublime and JPB. And if you ever, ever say anything favorable about Green Bay, you can expect something from Gus.
Thanks for playing and for the trash talk. That is always appreciated.
Yeh, well for the past few weeks I've looked at others' picks and tend, with many, probably the majority, to differ by two. See where that has gotten me. Jespah's hell bent for election foray into chance has new appeal....
Things can only get better, right ?

Going with oddly-named places, if neither or both place names sound odd to me, I'll spin the Giant Wheel of Randomness.
Week #8
San Francisco (2-4 for the season) @ Chicago (6-0) Chicago
Atlanta (4-2) @ Cincinnati (4-2) Cincinnati
Arizona (1-6) @ Green Bay (2-4) Arizona (because bay leafs are green, therefore Green Bay isn't an odd name)
Houston (2-4) @ Tennessee (1-5) Tennessee
Seattle (4-2) @ Kansas City (3-3) Seattle
Baltimore (4-2) @ New Orleans (5-1) New Orleans (odd because there's no Old Orleans)
Tampa Bay (2-4) @ NY Giants (4-2) Tampa Bay
Jacksonville (3-3) @ Philadelphia (4-3) Philadelphia (chosen by the Giant Wheel of Randomness, plus I used to live there)
St Louis (4-2) @ San Diego (4-2) Going with the GWR again, and picking San Diego
Pittsburgh (2-4) @ Oakland (1-5) Pittsburgh -- who the hell put the h at the end?
NY Jets (4-3) @ Cleveland (1-5) Cleveland
Indianapolis (6-0) @ Denver (5-1) Indianapolis (proto-weird semi-Greek place name)
Dallas (3-3) @ Carolina (4-3) Dallas
New England (5-1) @ Minnesota (4-2) Minnesota 3
The 3 also comes from the GWR.
You should have picked Yerba Buena over Chi-town if you're going with oddly named places.
Can I do worse?
Possibly.

So far everyone has picked Chicago over the 49ers. I'm not so sure. The Bears have looked like crap lately and have literally pulled games out of their shorts. If Grossman sucks again the 49ers win in a golden landslide.

I hope that by "literally" you mean "figuratively."
Could be a weird game otherwise.
Yeah, if the 49ers lose they might be taking a "golden shower".
Now there's a visual I could do without!
Jespah, you left out the total points thingee.

If they were in San Fran MAYBE. I am one of the few Niner fans in Chicago and I refuse to go to the game this weekend-I have a feeling it's gonna be ugly. Niners 17 Bears 38
