And, Pantalones, the total number of points in the Baltimore/Denver game?
Three of yall, I say three of yall out of the eight posting so far, are picking Green Bay.
Gus hates me and so refuses to play. Back when I sat with him on his sagging porch, we played cribbage. Johnboy is one mean cribbage player. I beat Gus something like 7 games in a row.
He won't play (although Johnboy, ever the Southern Gentleman that he is, invites him to) but he does watch this thread and will no doubt offer some pithy comment about the Packers and anyone who picks them.

RJB, I heard a rumor that Gus was a very rich man, who lost everything once he bet against the Packers; then he retired to the swamp to live among the capybaras.

So what we have a nice A2K member who sometimes turns into Mr. Hyde, specially when the glorious bay team is somehow involved.

I don't know about the rumor of his having lost his fortune betting on the Packers. I do know that, when I visited him in the swamp, the toilet paper in the outhouse was old pages from the Wall Street Journal.

By the way, I predict Pantalones will win. Do I get points for that?

Hope you're right on that prediction Smile

What's wrong with this picture?
I put down "Tennessee" instead of "Indianapolis".
Please change "Tennessee" to "Indianapolis".
Thanks.

Changes duly noted, Tico and George. I was kind of wondering about George's pick of TN.

I am still waiting to hear from Liontamerx, Edgar, Chiso, Sublime. Kickycan and McGentrix.

I would also like to predict that I am going to go 9-5 this week. Do I get an extra swami point if I get that right?

Back in a minute or three. Johnboy started the day with a sense of melancholy. Perhaps it had something to do with our having had 60 hours of rain, from drizzle to downpour.
Or perhaps it had to do with the slowness as I perceived it of picks being posted.
Liontamerx wandered off this week. McGentrix got my pm's but failed to play. And then there was this from Edgar: "...The last few posts about Gus drained the joy out of (this thread) for me."

But right about kick-off time the sky cleared a bit and the sun came out.
And we have 15 players.
