Be wary of a man who can't drive himself. This could indicate a criminal past!

Ok, so I go into work and I pulled in the parking lot at the same time as he and his drive did.
The girl that gave him a ride last night is the girl who has been giving me info about him.
When we got inside, he smiled and said "hello" and I said "hello" back.

A little later, the girl who gave him the ride says to me "I gave your man a ride today" and I said "I know, I saw".
Then she mentioned that he was looking for a ride for tonight but she couldn't make it, so I told her that I'd give him a ride.
She said "if you're serious, I'll tell him that you offered" and of course I told her I was very serious.
Not long after, she tells me that he wants my phone # and I gladly give it to her, to give to him.
Later in the night, he found the nerve to come talk to me and we made arrangements for me to pick him up.
He thanked me and I smiled saying "anytime" Very Happy

<sigh>

Now I have to go get ready for my big pick up Laughing

Montana, in her excitement and haste, puts on too much makeup and forgets her dental bridge.

I suspect this thread will follow through the first date, the courtship, wedding, the children and the grandchildren. This thread will be here many years from now. Assuming the relationship doesn't come crashing.

Well, it came to a hault, as far as I'm concerned and here's how tonights events went.

I went to pick him up and our conversation went great for a few minutes and then it was just ok.
I know we were both tired, due to lack of sleep, caused from the heat and humidity we had this week and he's been putting in over 60 hrs a week the last few weeks.
That's a lot of hours in a metal shop and he did say he was tired, so maybe it was just bad timing, but I just didn't feel the chemistry between us.
It amazes me how much chemistry we had before we started talking Laughing

He seemed a bit arrogant and much too serious of a person for someone like me.

Surprisingly, I was able to understand him and even though he was nice enough, something inside me was telling me no way would it work.
You could say that our personalities clashed, so that's that, I guess.

So now all I'm feeling for him is lust, which doesn't help either Laughing

God help me!

Bugger the serious bit, Montana. Just get a bunch of us to recite some jokes and funny stories, and play the tape through headphones while you jump his bones.

I've watched him at work for the last 6 weeks and he's much too serious for me and I don't know what the hell I was thinking.

Now, there's this 30 year old at work who adores me and he's sweet, fun, cute and just my type, but the boy has a girlfriend and child, so Montana won't be riding that horse.

One thing I know is that Montana really needs to find something to ride Laughing

OK...I've just contacted my brother (who is more french than english, and is not serious at all) and he has booked a flight. He wants picking up in about 12 hours, if that's OK.
He's not as handsome as your metalworker, but if you put a paper bag over his head with a photo of the frenchman on it, you won't be disappointed.
