Hangin' with friends... Sound system jammin'... And thousands of tunes at your fingertips. That's when you know, Lola's in the house!

Yawn...........looking around.........rolling out of bed, at last, stepping into shorts and peasant blouse, barefoot and energetic, Lola runs down the stairs in time to join her friends for late, late tea.

As Lola sits down next to Portentia, Lola explains that yes, Trevor and Blatham are both good friends.

Thats breakfast where I come from, yes please. I'll have Eggs Benedict washed down with freshly squeezed florida orange juice and a mug of real coffee, Hoft picked up the beans from Brazil last night so they should be fresh.

Portentia enters the drawing room in her new apricot silk sundress and gold sandals and asks Jeffers what's for breakfast. It's so good to finally wear one's own clothes.

"Oh dear," she says, looking around the empty house. "All dressed up and no place to go..."

He licks himself, silly ole, oldandknew...........what else would a wolf do?

Portentia, how lovely you look in your apricot sundress and sandels. It's getting cold though........so it's back to the blankety blank winder clothes again. Boring......................... It'll be cloudy, rainy and cold all week............well, we'll have to think of something fun to do around here to pass the time. I know, let's all go swinning in the indoor pool............last one there's a rotten egg!

Ok judges for the wet apricot sundress competition over here please, what there's only me.

Oh well If I must suffer , Ok ladies if you'd like to get out of the pool and walk up and down in front of me.

I like that one with the red roses on, whats her name-Visitor you say, sounds like a nom de plume, is that really her name ?

Lola checks the list and sure enough it is the same Visitor that gave Hiama that delicious Mimosa, so no bias here then Hiama awards her first prize, a dinner date with himself at a restaurant of her choosing anywhere in the world except Antartica cos its dark and cold and creepy.

Portentia accepts generous compliment from Hiama (probably not his real name, either) and agrees to claim prize provided he chooses a restaurant on the Grand Canal in Venice. AND, provided they do not have to fly there on HofT's jet...

Congratulations visitor. Dinner with HIAMA. I hear he's in fine shape these days. If you don't want to go on HofT's jet, how about Stradee's or Danon's or Timber's.......if not a jet, I could give Wassau a call and ask him to run over with one of our old fashioned clickers. There's nothing quite like a clicker to solve any logistical problem.

You guys have fun............

Hiama likes a beer from time to time. One in each hand I think. That's what is known as belt and braces drinking.

You British fellows have such odd expressions! Oldandknew, are you trying to warn me that Hiama has a serious drinking problem? Oh dear....
