Gautam, it's your secretary you should worry about. I bet she's got more rabbit than the South Downs and more front than Brighton

Lola, translation coming up

more rabbit than the South Downs. Rabbit & pork = talk. Lots of rabbits live on th S/Ds, so more rabbit or bunny means some one has a lot to say for themselves.

More front than Brighton. Brighton is a large seaside town, the front refers to the the large numbe of buildings on the coastal road thru town. More front means much the same as "rabbit" but with more bravado. (It can also refer to the female chest)
I trust this will clarify matters

Ah, the rakish wit of Lola's Salon, with oak being his usual dashing self. Poor Setanta is suddenly clean shaven, looking rather young and very cute sans moustache.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to meet and geet the lovely folks here and I've missed you all. Viz, what happened? I can't see your avatar, just one of those irritating little red crosses.

Withers, more champagne, please while I sit here and catch up on all the happenings at the Salon. Cobalt, is that you???

A new adventure ? How about we get a large bus and call it

"THE LOVE BUS" and go retro back to the 60s, all the music, funny clothes, permed hair, ciggies without filters, a liberal supply of social lubricants plus a little, or a lot, of what you fancy.
Let the world be your oyster

Except Hotel California was in the '70s, as I recall.

You know, OaK, I think I know some of those people who were caught in the Neverending-'60s-Bus loop. In fact, I'm related to a couple of 'em.
