I just found another right-wing quote from British tabloids that proves Herberts original postulation wrong.
"The so-called human rights of worthless people who have no right to be here have become more important than the safety of law abiding citizens" - The Sun, in reference to illegal immigrants.
And yes, illegal immigrants do provide a strain on our society.
However, I do not see how me being Chinese and having my own culture is detrimental to British society. We keep our culture separate from the British one, whilst participating in the British culture ourselves.
It is perfectly possible to maintain two cultural identities and keep them perfectly separate.
The fact that people would like to celebrate Chinese New Year has more to do with them wanting to, rather than us forcing them to.
Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the white population going gaga over Chinese New Year. They hardly understand it. They don't celebrate it properly and to them it's more like some kind of novelty sideshow that they go to gawp at once every year.

This is fine, this is not nazi. The nazis as I recall butchered several million jews.
It is, however, racist. I would understand if the word, illegal was included. That's not racist. That's common sense. Your proposal would be genetically unsound.
And it's not only Labour that's terrified of people defecting to the BNP. It's nearly every single political party (with the obvious exception of the BNP). Even the Conservatives can't stomach the idea.
